This is awesome, thanks Johanna

I will probably read Love's Good Fortune next, though I really have to prepare myself mentally for a Harlequin Romance. ;-)

I think I will draw the line at this one. Not even Josh can make me read contemporary f/m romance. But tell us what you think, Haldis!
:-)
I bought the m/f. The lone review on Amazon helped cement my decision. :-) it should be waiting in my mailbox when I get home tomorrow! Soon I'll try to purchase the other two series.

Given that it was published in 1985, it's quite possible I read it - I was pretty into Harlequin Romances at that point in my life - I was sure I would find the way to true love through them! Do let us know what you think Haldis!

It's a romance. Translation: I read a chapter, then I have to read something else before I start the next chapter, to get my head back on straight.
If you like romance, you'll probably like it.
I don't typically read romance, not even mm, so, there you are.
Writing is good, but it's still romance.

I haven't read this one yet, even though I have it on my bookshelf.
There's only one review of Love's Good Fortune on Amazon, but I always found it intriguing:
"This is such a sweet story of romance, of opposites and how they stay together despite some serious road blocks. I like the fact the language is subtle and not overly sexual; it is covert and I wonder what has happened to this author?"

That review was awesome. It's what helped me decide to buy the book. Not like I needed much prodding. But you know, those types of romances aren't my thing. But it made me smile to know the reviewer was wondering what had happened to the author. To be able to say the author has written so much more, was a great feeling!

Yes, I read that review and the response below it.
A lovely review. And I think that people who actually read romance will really enjoy this book.
I've just started Love's Good Fortune yesterday. It's not easy for anything to follow up His Quiet Agent, I think. lol. But so far it's not bad. Even though I never (almost never) read m/f romance.
I also just ordered print copies of the high rhymes and misdemeanors series. I managed to find (supposedly) two signed copies! Woot. So, I bought double the books. I bought another series for my mom for Christmas last year and she didn't like it. So, since her birthday is coming up, and since she loved the yoga series so much (and ended up sharing it with friends who enjoyed it a lot), I thought I would get her High Rhymes for her birthday that's coming up soon. :-)

I actually never finished that one. Got to about chapter eight and ran screaming for the hills. ....and I have only read the first one of High Rhymes...
And I am still suffering from a rather nice book hangover from His Quiet Agent two weeks later.

lol. Well, I really enjoyed the yoga series, so we'll see how these go. So far I'm ok with the romance novel, but then, I think I'm only on chapter four, so *shrugs*

I managed to finish it. I wanted to slap Alicia upside the head about a dozen times, but I didn't run screaming like I though I might. Though if the author was anyone else I never would have picked up the book in the first place. Lol.

My copy of Verse of the Vampire is signed!!!"
For the people wondering - like me, but probably *only me* ;-) -, she is talking about Verse of the Vampyre by Diana Killian.
Oh thanks, for including the link! I'd meant to go back and fix it when I got to a real computer, but totally forgot. :-P stupid app.

In fact I wouldn't have done it if I would have noticed that you were posting in the topic «Josh's books under other pen names» ;-).

I did the ebooks, but she prefers paperbacks.

:-D :-D :-D
I am going to have to finish both these series just to keep your mom and Jordan's happy. :-D

Gotta keep The Moms happy. :-)
Yes!
Well, also, Corpse Pose is a book I recommend a lot at work. I really enjoyed it myself, so it’s easy to recommend.

Oh dear. That's nuts. But oh well, the better for Josh and us, I guess.
