Don't be sorry Merryn...it's OK. If you remember when linking; to get the exact edition you are reading, put in the ISBN when you do your search - that way you will always have the copy that's in your hand:)

It's the ABC's Book Club classic selection for their Oct 4 program, which makes it appealing. It does have "travel" in the title, and it's a fantasy, so I can fit it in under unusual genres.
However, I was thinking of using John Steinbeck's Travels with Charley: In Search of America for much the same reasons. I don't usually read travelogues either.
Also, is there a thread for the ABC's Book Club?
To your last question Patty - yes! https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Let me check the other out and get back to you:)
Let me check the other out and get back to you:)
Depends on your copy of course, but one I just saw had a sailing ship on the cover - so COVER. Also travel to different country would fit too...lots there Patty!

Mine is an e-book with the old cover with the original title
"Travels into Several Remote Nations of the World", so I reckon that can count as a place - lots of places.
Okay, that's one decision. :)

From anywhere you like Vivian:) It'll be listed somewhere here and if it's not I can add it for you. But it doesn't need to be on your Goodreads TBR if that's what you're asking;)

Sharon wrote: "How do I update my list when I have completed reading a book and written a review?"
Hi Sharon:) go back to your original list and click on "edit" down in the bottom corner. You can then rate the book read, strike it out; adjust it that way:)
For information on how to do those things, click here https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... and you'll find the help you need:)
Any further questions, don't hesitate!

I go back to my list and edit it. I usually cross through the title then add my star rating.

Sharon this challenge hasn't started yet. It starts October 1st. So the one you've read doesn't qualify now:)

I do that all the time - change my list that is - very rarely do all the books I pick make the final total :)

So you will :) Never mind, another lovely book to read!

Thanks Brenda. Was asking since I haven't figured out Kindle or other ways of downloading a book to read yet so thought it might be easier to start off with books already in hand.
