Starting the 21st. Forgot who all was joining me for this, so feel free to chime in and refresh my memory. I usually read 3 chaps a day for a buddyread but if u chose to read more just don't forget to use your spoiler tags.

Since I read "The Manse" about a year ago would it be O.K. if I chime in when everyone has finished?

I hate to ask this, but does anyone have a digital copy they can borrow to me after they're finished?

I'm not sure if there is a digital copy available. I think most of us had to order the physical copy from websites.

I had to order mine too. It was around 4$. I did not notice Pojo on the banister.

I'm at chapter 5. it sure is jumping around a lot. we just talked about this on the Swan Song buddy read and I didn't mind it in that book but it seems like there is A LOT of people mentioned in the beginning. there is no way I'm going to remember all of them.

I'll probably try to stick with the pace of 3 chapters a day.

I've only read the prologue...lol. Chapters look short though so I'll try to read to ch3 at least. I'm not too big of a fan of lots of characters but we'll see how it goes.

I love how poor joe became Pojo...lol.

I just finished my 3 chapters for the day. Addy, I agree with you on how it was funny for Pojo's name. Either he'll be an expendable character, a red shirt, or he'll play a surprisingly large and heroic role. We shall see.

Ok. Read my 3 chapters. Really enjoying davey's story. Believe it or not, I will not go into a haunted house or attraction, so this is a nice little treat...haha, no pun intended:)

I'm behind on this but aiming for ch11.

Made it to ch10. Really enjoying so far. Even the relationships seem to be interesting between characters. I think the scariness and the history of the Manse will take a backseat, but so far I don't mind.

I'm up to chapter 11. First of all, if a little old lady that use to work in said haunted house -and is sensitive- tells you the the house is haunted, bad, evil, etc. You listen!!! Lol. I think the book is ok so far. The more I read, the more I'm convinced I did not read what the book was about. I think I fell for the cover and that was that! But it's ok so far. I skimmed ahead to see if we will get a flash back section and I did not see one:( so maybe the Aunt's will fill us in cause I really, really want some history of the house.

I still am waiting for my copy in the mail, but hopefully it comes in tomorrow or the next day then I could definitely catch up, but if not hope everybody enjoys!!

It took me a long time just to remember to Oder the book! I hope you get yours very soon.

Yea I ordered it Friday night from some website that Barnes & Noble got from, but still haven't received that or the 3 other books I ordered :( but hopefully tomorrow will be the day!

Yea I'm waiting for that Savage, To Wake the Dead, & The Traveling Vampire Show I'm still looking for the 2nd book to Rosemary's Baby & Goodnight Moom >:( there hard to find for some reason.

I'm actually gonna buy Goodnight Moom on my kindle. I do think it's on Amazon. I'd love to buy the physical book, but don't have a lot of extra cash right now.

I ended up getting the paperback for $4 on Amazon.

Yes, I'll announce when the book is over and done. I know we have a few ppl waiting on the book still. If u want to write something, you are more than welcome to, bob, as along as its in spoiler form and u let us know what chapter it pertains too.

For some reason it's taking me 3 days to get past ch10...lol. I keep meaning to read at nite and then fall asleep after a page. I think I'm gonna try reading during the day.

I finished today. Haven't written a review yet, the last half goes quicker. My final rating is 3/5 stars. Good book but nothing that stuck out to me.
