wonderlandrea Can't get this book out of my head, so I made a fanmix! You can listen to it here.

I was thinking more of the dark and sad and apocalyptic elements of the story, but there's potential for a light and fun soundtrack! Carolyn and Steve have some great screwball romantic comedy scenes. Someone should make that fanmix.

Did any tunes pop into your head while you were reading? Which songs remind you of this book?

Scott Hawkins Hi wonderlandrea,

I just listened to your fanmix and I really liked it. The "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" cover in particular was *perfect*. I also liked "All is Violent, All is Bright" and "Numb".

Bear in mind that a) I'm increasingly middle-aged b) not very musical to begin with and c) playlist I used when I was working varied. That said, when I was working on Mt Char I spent a lot of time listening to the live version of Heart's "Crazy on You" (that was sort of the climax when Carolyn made the Apaches crash), Tusk (ch. 1), Roger Waters "4.41 a.m. (Sexual Revolution)" (Carolyn v. David), and Hang Fire (I bet you can guess). Oh, and Dead Man's Party. I've probably heard that more than Danny Elfman at this point.

Anyway, tnx for posting your list! Most of those were new to me, and I'm going to work some of those into the rotation.

Scott
