Caroline (chronicbibliophile) Yep. @sid, harry would've died in the first 100 pages of the series if not for her XD

T ✩ Handmaiden Of Amidala (tarria) The first book heroine who I saw myself in. She was exactly like me in every way from her reading obsession to her social problems. One of my favourite literary characters of all time.

Mariah | 68 comments Hermione is awesome, she's smart and brave, she thinks quickly and she's amazing in general. I loved her dynamic in the golden trio, and I just think she's a well written character. She's also determined to achieve her goals and she's a caring friend.

I agree - she is definitely one of my favorite characters ever written! Without her, the Harry Potter series is not what it is

Melissa Eisenmeier (carpelibrumbooks) | 10 comments I think I love Hermione more now than when the books initially came out. I didn't quite appreciate how integral she was when I was a kid reading the books as they came out.

Emma (peachypqstry) I'm so happy I'm reading Harry Potter again, cuz I really didn't remember how awesome Hermione was. She makes me feel understood :)

Who was your favourite?

luna! her whimsy personality really resonated with me for some reason. also she’s one of the only ravenclaws without a background role, so i was happy to have that representation. i do think i like her more because of the movie though

Jada (semi study hiatus) She's a good character, but she was annoying at times. She, Luna, Sirius, and McGonagall were my favorites.

Benji | 36 comments (17+) If you’re drawn to the brilliance and tenacity of Hermione Granger, imagine a character who embodies her essence but has weathered far darker storms.

In my novel, you'll meet a Hermione who is intelligent & fiercely logical—she's been tempered by trauma and hardship that have forged her into someone both vulnerable & unbreakable. She’s still bossy, nerdy, & self-assured, relying on logical persuasion over emotional manipulation, yet her journey unfolds in a world shadowed by far greater perils.

This is a story for those who seek a deeper, grittier realm, where courage is born not from innocence, but from war torn lands. Where the qualities of the great Hermione Granger shine with new intensity in the face of unimaginable darkness.

(Although this Hermione is based off of my friends Natalie & Jamie which oddly its fusion became someone like = Hermione Granger.)

I'm curious If anyone would be drawn to an unconventional autobiography—a journey where trauma transforms into art?
Love & Sorcery: My unconventional Autobiography: Naughty Version.

In this tale, I take you deep into a mystical realm where landscapes mirror our own world, fractured and reimagined. Through dark romance and a tapestry of mythical creatures, I share the blueprint of how I survived ordeals that should have killed me, threading in elements from my developmental studies. This isn’t just my story but a reflection for anyone who’s wrestled with pain or felt helpless in the grip of darkness.

Within its pages, you'll find the delicate balance of pleasure and pain—like a double-edged sword that cuts deep yet reveals hidden truths. Women’s most erotic fantasies intertwine with raw narratives of trauma, offering connection and catharsis for those who need to feel seen and understood.

Within these pages, you’ll find the unspoken truths—the raw, haunting experiences my friends faced as survivors of sexual assault, each story echoing pain from across the globe. This isn’t just a tale of trauma; it’s a collection of voices silenced by fear, betrayal, and a society that shields the guilty while isolating the brave.

For too long, those who suffered were hushed by onlookers, cast aside while their attackers wore masks of virtue. This book is a space to break that silence, to unveil the darkness behind the facade, and to finally give these stories the voice they were denied.

Writing this was a way of relieving the burden of carrying their trauma, allowing the truth to breathe and releasing the weight that has lived within me for so long. If you’ve ever felt unseen or unheard, or if you need to know you’re not alone in the battle for justice and healing, I invite you to witness these stories with me.

Picture an academy with the intrigue of Hogwarts, a land embroiled in war like Lord of the Rings. A love circle similar to Vampire Diaries, and magical creatures with the wisdom of Narnia.

In a realm scarred by a 6,000-year war, where Dragons, Phoenixes, and Moth Humanoids reign as the most formidable creatures, a forbidden romance ignites between sworn enemies—a Dragon and a Phoenix. Drawn to each other by fate yet torn by ancient grudges, they surrender to a love as fierce as the flames they wield. But in a world still echoing with the scars of battle, their passion is tested at every turn, with challenges lurking that threaten to consume them both.

This world breathes with rich cultures, unique fashions, and spiritual paths that echo familiar yet distant parts of ourselves. It’s a twist of fate, a dark fantasy that invites readers to explore the beautiful and brutal dance between survival and passion, resilience and release. Lisa Goldstein | 131 comments Hooray. Hooray for Her-my-o-nay! I was more like book Hermione. I think they portrayed her in the movies as on the autism spectrum. I saw some of the movies BEFORE I started the books BTW. Also, Harry was cool, too. And Ron. I should do a rewatch and reread, now that I think of it...

Evan Carey | 99 comments I love Hermione! She's so sweet. She always stand up for others, and strives to do the right thing, even in hard situations.

message 74: by Avery (new)

Avery Duffy | 9 comments She's a human library with bushy hair, and the only person who can make "It's Levio-sa, not Levio-sah!" sound charming. She's brave, loyal, and never backs down from a challenge, no matter how magical or mundane. Basically, she's the friend who'd help you with homework and save you from a Basilisk, all before breakfast.
