Mystery/Thriller Reading Friends discussion

Is anybody else having a problem getting a library book for their kindle on overdrive? I keep getting an error message saying they are working on it.

When I borrowed a Kindle library book just a few days ago i also got that error on the Amazon page where you select which device to send it to. However wben i checked my device it was there with no issue. I didn't check the Manage your digital content page but suggest you might want to look there to see if yours was transferred too.

Amy, I'd contact overdrive first. I've had issues in the past that they fixed easily. I've been borrowing books the last couple of days and haven't been having an issue.

Crystal, it's through Amazon. I'll call the library tomorrow to see if they can fix it.

Sorry your having issues... I have been borrowing books the last couple of days with no issues so It might be a glitch somewhere on your end.

I will. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with me updating my iPad to 9.0.

I spoke to a tech at Amazon about not being able to get my books. He is
going to check it out and get back to me. My daughter also lives in Palm Beach County and she also couldn't get a book for her Kindle. It is defiantly
on their end. I hope they fix it soon. I also spoke to someone at my library and he told me this happened about A month ago also.

I hope they solve the issue for your library system soon Amy!

Thanks Carol, I'm almost finished reading The Nature of the beast. I do have something else to read. Hopefully Amazon will fix the problem soon.

I got the books, but had to go through my computer to do it. I was always able to get them from my iPad.

Amy: Once you have them now you might be able to also open them on your iPad too. Once I have borrowed a Kindle library book successfully I can open it on multiple devices. I hope that works for you too!

Amy, you may have to use the Kindle app on your ipad and go that way for now... it might be easier than downloading to computer to transfer over.

Ann, I couldn't get the books to go on the kindle. I was able to just go on my computer and go on overdrive click on the book that was there and it took me
right to Amazon and I was able to get the book.

Ann, If I want I can now read the books on my IPad or my other devices. I don't really like reading on my iPad. At least I know I can get the books from my computer now, I just don't understand why I'm having this problem. I never had one before.
