Joe Jackson (shoelessauthor) Does anyone belong to independentauthornetwork.com? Have you gotten any results from it? Anyone have an opinion about it they care to share?

I am a member of it. Not sure what kind of results you're looking for, but they do send out tweets for their members on a regular basis, and I've had nothing but support from the other members, though you need to contact them individually.

Joe Jackson (shoelessauthor) What kind of monthly page hits does your author page and/or books get there? Does the visibility seem good? A one-time fee seems pretty generous compared to the sites that charge monthly subs and fees.

Not looking for exact numbers, just if you feel the site helps you generate a decent amount of interest/traffic.

It didn't hurt, and I have been in their top 150 authors viewed a few months in a row. So yeah, it helps for visibility.

Joe Jackson (shoelessauthor) I know that feeling.

Rebecca Bryn (rebeccabryn) | 3 comments Hi. I've been an IAN member for about a year. I tweet my IAN page link regularly and tweets with the #ian1 get retweeted by IAN members. I had the platinum membership which costs about $100 a year. It sounds a lot, but they tweet your books daily and have an author page for you and your books, and I've found them very helpful generally. I have 8-12,000 page hits a month and have met a lot of helpful and supporting authors through it. I can't say if it's brought me sales directly, but it's expanded my contacts and got my name known. This has led to being invited to do interviews and join tweet groups. I'm going to renew my membership for another year, and I don't spend that sort of maney lightly. There are levels of membership that cost less. If you want an idea of an author page have a look at mine www.independentauthornetwork.com/rebe...

Colette Obrien (goodreadscomuser_coletteobrien) thanks for that. I was considering joining. Now I think I will.
