C (fightingfromafar) I just found this: http://www.buzzfeed.com/dianabruk/sig...
Too funny and way too true

I'm still laughing about the floppy-haired brooder.

Lisa (lisadannatt) | 148 comments I've actually looked for the night gown, have a full tea service and would love a quill.
We used to have a flock of peacocks (with fleas) living in our garden.

Sophie | 1458 comments So many apply to me!

message 5: by Lisa (new)

Lisa (lisadannatt) | 148 comments Soph, you are their poster-child!
You could add more

message 6: by Caity (new)

Caity | 144 comments HAHA Soph- indeed!!!
I love nightgowns, tea services, quill pens, and peacock stuff. Haha

message 7: by Maria (new)

Maria | 94 comments Amazing! Studying abroad=England :) So true!
Also, the thing I say more often is "I should have been born in the nineteenth century"! But I do many others of those things :P

message 8: by Anne (new)

Anne | 81 comments Buying antique tea sets...yep!! :D

message 9: by Sophie (new)

Sophie | 1458 comments Ahaha - I could add a lot more!

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

Hmm. Well this is disconcerting. A lot of that dratted list applies for even me!

Maybe I should go read several thoroughly repulsive modern books or something. Eh, probably too late. I'm beyond help! :-) :-)

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

How about having to explain to people why I own three copies of P&P- and why I need more.

message 12: by Sophie (new)

Sophie | 1458 comments Same! I have 3 sets of all 6 and I think there is another 2 P&Ps in the house! But I still need more!

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

What is it about reading P&P from a physical book anyway? I have all of Austen's work on my ipad but every time I read one... I pull out the book instead! :-)

message 14: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (stephanie-jo) | 79 comments Why you need multiple copies of books and movie adaptations. No one here understands.

message 15: by Sophie (new)

Sophie | 1458 comments Yes same! It just has to be a physical book for Austen!

message 16: by Sophie (new)

Sophie | 1458 comments Yes Stephanie - we have 3 versions of the P&P 95 series!

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

Multiple versions are important though. One can never tell when a spare will be required! Best to always be prepared. :-)

message 18: by Sophie (new)

Sophie | 1458 comments Exactly!

message 19: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (stephanie-jo) | 79 comments I just saw that there is a special keepsake edition of the 1995 P&P. I am thinking that is another one to add to the collection. I also need to find a BBC version of Mansfield Park that I can watch as well.

message 20: by Sophie (new)

Sophie | 1458 comments I saw that but it doesn't seem to be available over here ...

message 21: by S.K. (new)

S.K. Rizzolo (skrizzolo) | 28 comments Hi Stephanie:

You can watch the 1983 BBC version on You-Tube:
