Obskura3 | 3 comments With the new godzilla movie on the horizon my inner child has awoken. Always been a huge godzilla fan since I was old enough to watch tv, he was my first monster. Anyway to the point. Anyone know of any books or series of books that feature kaiju/giant monsters like godzilla, cloverfield, gamera, pacific rim, or Cthulhu (not the hp lovecraft books)? Think you can help me out? Sry for bad English! Thanks!

Mark | 37 comments Monster, 1959 was a decent read.

Jaime | 97 comments Gojiro Gojiro A Novel by Mark Jacobson by Mark Jacobson has been on my radar since it first saw print but I have yet to read it. More of an allegorical 'slipstream'narrative than straight up atomic monsters genre fun.

Peggy (psramsey) | 393 comments Kaiju is worth a read - check it out. Chris is great at combining horror and humor.

Bittman (bittman) | 42 comments Jeremy Robinson has at least one. Project Nemesis. Not sure if he has released the sequel. Not a great book but it is fun.

Mhorg (rhob60) The only thing I have is the Godzilla compendium.

Trike I enjoyed MM9. I think there's a sequel. It's originally Japanese if that makes a difference.

The sequel, Project Maigo, came out six months ago.
