I would go back in time to see who Jack The Ripper really is.

Chris Harrison (chrisharrison_2013) I'd want to go a long way forward in time. Five thousand years or so to see if life on Earth is still recognisable and what sort of inventions came about.

Five thousand years ago is like a different planet; imagine five thousand years forward!

Forward is a good one. I would want to do that too, see if the world gets as bad as I think it is going to.

Nuts Norma, would you really want to "see" who Jack the Ripper really was. Hopefully you have the fast forward button in hand during your up close and personal.

My answer -That would depend whether you could affect the time line. Even then I would have to think about it.

Liz (kamodo303) | 20 comments I don't think I would go either direction. Foward because I feel that the future is a fluid thing and can change by they decision of each person....and the past well that already happened and if you could change things even a small thing could ruin the present.

I would love to see who he really is. There are a few things I would love to do. Both forward and backwards. DB Cooper, did OJ do it, etc,...

Narayan Liu (narayanliu) | 8 comments If my concern was for the future, I'd travel back about 1500 years during Roman rule, acquire as much Roman currency as I can, bury it somewhere safe, return to the present, recover the currency and sell it to a museum for a lot of money.

If I travelled based on curiosity and a thirst for knowledge, I'd probably travel back to around 750 BC and explore as much of the ancient world as I can, immersing myself in their beliefs and predominately isolated cultures.
