Thanks to all who post Whispersync info. I frequently pick up suggested books.

Here's the 50 Books for $2 Each for the month of August, so just a few days left. These are the ones that showed up as Whisperysynced and you can sort for genre by checking the column to the left. Most audiobooks are $1.99, but I did see one for $3.49.

Finally have my full August Whispersync deal roundup up, going through the monthly Kindle deal lists with mostly an eye on science fiction and fantasy but a few other books sneak in there, too: Max Gladstone's Three Parts Dead, Alex Bledsoe's Wisp of a Thing, authors Marko Kloos, Kevin J. Anderson, and Tim Powers, narrators Oliver Wyman, Simon Vance, Tim Gerard Reynolds, Bronson Pinchot, and quite a few more this month. As Kathy said, just a couple days left in the August deals.

lost boy lost girl by Peter Straub is on sale: Kindle $1.99 + Whispersync audio $3.49. This is a great book, and a sequel of sorts to the Blue Rose trilogy.

Could people also include the Goodreads links in their posts? I prefer to read the book blurb in Goodreads first before I investigate the price on Amazon. Since I'm from Canada, I have to shop on the amazon.ca site. So, getting a link to amazon.com isn't useful at all.

The Kindle is 1.99 and the whispersync is 1.99.

I did this deal the prior year and I really like this book. It's different. I gave it to the wife and she liked it as well. It was a 2015 Edgar Award Nominee. Recommended.

If anyone else has read this author and has something else to recommend, I would be interested.

I just got Miranda's Fortune, $2.99 for ebook and $1.99 for Audible. It's a coming-of-age mystery and has a few good reviews.

My library has a Kindle rental option now, and for some reason you can get the Whispersync discount for the audio with said rentals. Maybe that's intentional by Amazon? Provide a library service that at the same time brings you some monetary gain?

Now I need to find out what books offer whispersync.

NO need for that. Just go to the provided link on Amazon.com, before you buy it for free just click the link below it that says "Add Audible narration to your purchase for 0.00". Then click purchase, and you're all done.

But then you are limited to the version that Amazon chooses for you. Usually for these free deals there are multiple versions of the audio book available for free so you can select the narrator you prefer. I haven't tried with White Fang because I don't want to read it, but it is generally best not to just click on the Amazon link.
