Honestly, if this guy really cares about you, then he's treating you and this girl pretty badly. You should make sure he knows how you feel and then not push it further, it's not fair to yourself, him, or his girlfriend. And if she's your friend you shouldn't help him to hurt her.

Alright see the thing is, is it really possesive of her to not want you to talk to him? The reason she would say that is because she thinks you're a threat, and since you say he's "cheating" on her, then you actually are a threat. If I were in her shoes, I wouldn't want him anywhere near you.
At the same time, I understand how you feel, but feelings don't validate the mistreating of another person. So even if you love him, love him enough to respect HES in a relationship. If he really loves you he'll realize it and end up with you, but you can't form a relationship on cheating or it won't end well

You have to just stick to being his friend until he figures out what he wants
