ITunes iBooks discussion

Hey everyone,

I don't see a lot of activity here, but I hope someone is out there. :-)

With my self-publishing package from FriesenPress I have a bunch (250 in fact)of free iBook certificates that I can use for giveaways/promotions or to use for reviews.

Any suggestions where/how to post these? I'm almost thinking of doing a giveaway (ie. free copies to the first 250 people to sign up) as I'm really not sure what else to do with them!

I had vouchers for Audible downloads that I used a free gifts in a couple of promos on Facebook. I don't know whether it was because people found them too complicated, but quite a lot of the vouchers I gave away didn't get downloaded. This was a special event that someone else was hosting and I was invited to join. You could do it as a promo there, or offer them on pages local to your town if they have them on Facebook. That is another place that I gave my vouchers away. Be prepared not to get many reviews though, and even not to get all the vouchers used. I gave a couple away on Goodreads recently, but they haven't been downloaded yet. Lots of luck with them.

Thank you for the information, Loretta! I'm not a huge presence on Facebook, but I'm having more luck on Twitter.

I actually searched for iBooks and iTunes on Twitter, and I am going to offer them to those accounts who have large followings of actual iTunes users. Wish me luck! :-)
