Tip: try a work of haiku as your 'first' novel. You don't want to shoot your wad too soon. :D

Hi Noah,
If you want to approach writing that way, you could just look at the best seller lists and see what people are buying most. But, I think a better approach to writing a book is to write the kind of book you would enjoy reading. It will be easier and more satisfying to write to your own tastes, rather than to what you think people want to read.

Please remember your manners. Your tone in posts has been very condescending. This may not have been your intention, but I will not tolerate this flippant attitude in my group.

Anyway, the kinds of topics that interest me the most are fantasy / mythology done with a twist. You know, something to truly make it the authors, something that hasn't been done before.
I also love erotica, of course (I'm an author of several books of it) but even then there has to be something there that makes it stand apart from the rest. Some kind of unique twist, point of view, character depth... something.
Anyway, Alexa out! ;-)
