MountainKat | 31684 comments I had lots of 4 and 4+ Star reads again this month, Warrior's Cross, Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night, Full Throttle, Who We Are, Law Man, Status Update and How to Run with a Naked Werewolf.

But one book stood out as an absolute 5 Star this month, Defiant by Pamela Clare. Love, love, loved this book!

I've got two going right now that I'm sure will be more 4 Stars, maybe I'll be surprised and they will be 5 too!

Breann | 398 comments Jay Bell does it again! Kamikaze Boys was my favorite this month. I also loved Seduction in Death, Tough Love, Shiny!, Studio Orders and Invincible.

I'm reading Ball & Chain and right now it's living in 2-stars-ville at the moment. Have all the books in the series been this dumb and I just never noticed it? I don't know. But it's pretty bad.

Ezi didn't love B&C either. I think she gave it 3 stars. Not looking good for me once I finally get around to buying it :(

message 13: by Breann (new)

Breann | 398 comments I ended up giving it 2.5 and rounded up to 3. I just couldn't bring myself to give them 2 stars. It just felt cheap and silly at times.

But I'm still going on with this series and the spinoffs! For sure!

What a shame! A series full of 4 and 5 star reads, and then a 2 starer :(
