It's not that big. I am stuck right in the middle of it. I don't seem to feel connected with the writing and everything. I hope to get back to it soon! I finished 2 other books while that in hold .

It's the first one of a series, it was really short (126 pages). I liked the characters and I'm looking forward reading the next one! I would have given it 3,5 stars if I could. So I decided to give 4, because it's the first one and I think the series has potential!

I'm currently reading Dash & Lily's Book of Dares, and will shortly start Holding Up the Universe.

I'm currently reading Sawkill Girls.

I'm currently reading Six of Crows and The Language of Thorns: Midnight Tales and Dangerous Magic by Leigh Bardugo as well as Kill the Queen by Jennifer Estep

Currently reading The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender and it's so good. Magical really.

Starting the next book is always the most difficult choice I have to make on any given day. I'm a bit of a perfectionist laced with OCD so the thought of starting a book I might not want to finish terrifies me. I've read many bad books simply because I have to finish what I've started. It's very crippling at times and causes me to limit the list of authors I am willing to take a chance on, no matter how much I wish to broaden my experiences. Having been diagnosed with cancer a year ago seems to only have exacerbated the problem because, while I continue to be optimistic about the end game, I sometimes cannot help but feel I am living on borrowed time, making my choices even more critical.

Perhaps I've shared too much, but I will say I am currently reading The Silkworm
