I've been into Greg Iles again lately...Mortal Fear now...it has the least weird racial vibes. I live in the south, but I really don't relate to some of the tones in his writing. Maybe life is very different in Mississippi? Never been there. Otherwise plots are compelling.

I have read several of his books. I loved every one of them. There is also "Son of a Witch" which is kind of like a sequel to 'Wicked'.

@Mick: Well its been a while since I read it. But it was definitely interesting. I like how the author expands on the backgrounds and gives it a bit of a different twist.

That said, out of all the books I'm reading right now, "Eligible" by Curtis Settenfeld is probably my favorite book at the moment.
Which is absolutely crazy because I'm not really a romance kind of guy. But I just love this book so much for its palpable characters and humor.
If you guys like Pride & Prejudice, I think you'll like this modern retelling.
That said, out of all the books I'm reading right now, "Eligible" by Curtis Settenfeld is probably my favorite book at the moment.

I haven't read Mirror Mirror, but I did read "Wicked." I enjoyed it, though I found it quite a jump from who they were growing up to who they turned out to be, as we knew them in the classic.

CR: The Girls The Singles GameCurrently finishing up both books. I found "The Girls" on the Fornunate Read section at the Local Library and I have to finish it come Saturday. It's okay, I probably would give it 2 stars?
Currently listening to "The Singles Game", I've been listening to this for almost 2 weeks now.. moving very slow but picks up at the end when it starts to get "juicy". I would give it 2 stars.

The Little Paris Bookshop (40% done) by Nina George - I had to drop this, if I had the time of the world, I would finish it, but It doesn't have a solid story and I didn't really see the point of continuing. 2/5 stars.
