Could the item be amended to read "consecutive"? It really isn't clear the way it's written. Thanks.
Unfortunately, I can't amend the post since Tien posted it, but I will send her a PM for when she returns.
BTW - The same holds for the authors initials in ALL of the author tasks (6, 7, 8, 9, 10) where it says the initials have to be in order in the word. not just 10. If you notice, too, in all of the examples in every task the letters are next to each other.
The only exception is task 12, and note here Tien just says that the authors initials must be found in the word, but not "found in order"

Firstly, again, apologies for the confusion. As always, things can make sense to yourself and another person but there seems to always be a different interpretation out there -individuality! :)
Secondly, I've gone through all the claimed slices & the planned tasks/books in Your Categories and found only 1 planned book that does not appear to qualify (it's still not yet read so I'll let her know to change it)

Not a problem... I just read another book. And I went through that category too, to see if there was another person who picked a book like that , but it was just me.

City of Thieves
Act of War
The Guilty
City of Thieves & The Guilty seems okay; both MCs are soldiers but Act of War doesn't seem like he's one? A bit unclear actually, it's he CIA? I couldn't tell...

No problem...I'll go with one of the other two. Thanks.

Would animal include dragon?

Would animal include dragon?"
Why not :)

Why not :)

Brain Jack it is. Thanks!

yes, perfect.

yes, perfect.

Will this work for task 1, f (50% travel by main character):
Jack of Spies
Sounds like it might, Amy, though I'm not 100% sure. It's stated that he goes from city to city for his 'job' but it doesn't say whether he actually travels for this book's plot. I hope I'm making sense here...
However, if you read it and thinks 50% of book is of him travelling then I'll take your word for it.

I have it earmarked to read for the SRC, so I'll read it anyway and decide. Thanks for the speedy reply!

You're testing my brain here... so long ago that I can't quite remember the intention of the task & how 'stretchy' it can be.
Leapfrog is a children's game so I wouldn't really count it as 'sports' as such but then again it's a physically-active game which is what sports is so... go for it, Lahni!

Tien is away, but I can answer the question. Amy is correct, the letters have to be right next to each other. Even though the task does not expressly say consecutive, that was the intent, as shown in the examples. By saying the letters do not wrap around, we mean that there are no letters in between them.
Sorry it wasn't clear.
