Jenika I agree with Lee on those two. The Killer Next Door actually gave me nightmares!

Also Misery by Stephen King really freaked me out.

Jenika, I think I would be too scared to read Misery
because I bet its a lot more frightening than the film.

I wasn't allowed to go see the movie since I was too young, so I checked out the novelization from the school library. Stayed awake all night reading that book, because I was so scared, stopping without knowing how it ended would have been even worse.

Jenika Lee - I had to stop reading Misery part way through, but plan to try again sometime. It was about 20 years ago when I read it, but I've never been able to get a certain horrifying image out of my head (view spoiler)

Ladymurmur - I can imagine Aliens would be terrifying to read!
