So I went ahead and made this . . . .

So what do you have for Gavriil's history right now?

Or his character in general? I'm looking for inspiration for Siersha.

i've had my friends over all night sorry (don't expect much from me tonight for roleplay). i was going to do something about him being really pushovery except in cases where someone besides him is being hurt; while zorion was present in his life, he wasn't always there (though i was considering maybe gavriil accidentally revealing something about zorion and that leading to zorion's death ??), also i wasn't planning on his mother being accepting of his sexuality so maybe he gets female friends (ie, siersha) to make his mother happier

It's totally fine. Okay, so maybe she assumes that Gavriil and Siersha are together because of their queerplatonic relationship (and maybe they've kissed a couple times as friends only)? Also, maybe the two families knew each other before and maybe they had been next door neighbors? I'm thinking maybe they kind of half-lived in each other's houses growing up?

Okay! So maybe Siersha's parents end up getting a divorce at some point, but it's amiable but she ends up not liking her dad's new family? And Gavriil helps her with that?

since i was working on gavriil's history, i was wondering: do you have any idea what siersha's personality will be like?

I think Siersha's going to have a temper and like to defend her friends, particularly Gavriil. And I think she probably started getting in fights if someone insults her friends and such, and I think because of how often she got in fights, she started learning how to throw knives as an alternative means of anger management. But I think she's rather sweet to her real friends and her mom.

i think that fits well with what i had planned for gavriil. aside from the bit about him being a pushover, i know i want him to be fiercely protective of everyone who isn't him. she sounds like a good character on her own as well.

Cool! I think she's not really at all a pushover -- probably too much not for her own good. Do they usually try to balance each other out a bit? Also, do they have like the same circle of friends?

with their fairly opposing personalities, i'd say that it seems likely they balanced each other out. and since they're pretty close, they probably have the same circle of people they know, but there might be some people gavriil considers friends that siersha doesn't and vice-versa.

I am imagining Siersha giving Gavriil's boyfriends the shovel talk and going after at least the worst ones with her daggers and scaring the shit out of them.

I think she'll make each of her shovel talks more terrifying than the last? I think she'll actually start throwing knives/daggers/whatever else she wants at their loose clothing (maybe one had loose pants and she pins the fabric right below his guy parts to the wall) instead of just talking.

I think I have everything except gif-finding, family, and history done for Siersha.

She will also be the first genderqueer character on the roleplay

last time i checked, siersha looked really good. also i love the face claim you chose! she's sooo attractive and i keep looking at different images of her because those cheekbones are amaZING and her smile is the best and this is probably part of the reason why people think i'm gay

Lol yay! I'm glad you like! She's cool, and I thought she would work well for pretty but also not necessarily the most feminine in the world either. I'm probably about as not straight as it gets withot being gay, so yeah. Grey-a, I think. Androgines are the most attractive, followed by women. I find the idea of sex with a guy more repulsive than with any other gender. Not really cis-anything, me.

the thought of sex with anyone repulses me and i've never been one to develop crushes often or quickly so i'm thinking i'm somewhere on the ace spectrum. most people at school assume i'm attracted to one of two guys (one of who is bi with a heavy leaning towards men and the way he reacted to the pictures i showed him of sebastian stan today was hilarious but that's off topic), and said guys (plus some of my not-school friends) either strongly believe or could see me as lesbian.

Yeah. I tried for a while because I thought it would be normal, but it always felt so forced (actually, read Siersha's stuff for my opinion and such on gender and sexuality). That is amusing. There is one girl at my school who looks rather androgynous that I always thought was pretty. She somehow figured out my name and I am somehow on hallway-hi terms with her. I'm not interested in anning with everyone and am disgusted at the idea, but she's still like the prettiest prson at school in my opinion. Well, I sometimes sit at lunch withher ex-girlfriend. It was really awkward once because the ex figured out I was cloak-girl and started fangirling right then. And then she mumbled something about her ex-girlfriend thinking I was really cool. It was awkward. So yeah, even if I weren't ace, I wouldn't really be straight either.

is it bad that i figured siersha was lowkey you vicariously expressing yourself through your characters? also, the thing with the attractive girl does sound kind of awkward.

i find lots of people attractive without wanting to screw them or do anything but feel their hair or something weird like that. like with sebastian stan thing, i was showing pictures of him to people in my group instead of working on my debate like i should've been and, knowing how this person felt about good-looking men, i showed him a picture and (me being me) said something like "look at him! he's so...nice. i just want to touch his face" and the other guy looked at me and went "yeah, i'd like to touch his face. and something else" i laughed but felt kind of uncomfortable because he straight up told me it was a penis joke. today at lunch i had people asking me and this other ace guy in my class who we would sleep with of the opposite gender if we had to and we were both looking around the lunch room in a state of panic while trying to find the most desirable person for the least desirable activity and making sure they weren't close enough to hear us talking about them

I fiured it was kind of obvious. Her familial situation is going to be similar to my own also. =) It was. And then one of the other people at out table started talking about how she had dated the guy from a set of twins and then broken up with him and then gotten together with his twin sister. And then she had been at the twins' house and the guy had gotten confused about why she was there and then she told him she was dating his sister. Apparently he hadn't known his sister was bi.

Lol Sounds terrifying. I panicked when my friends said they shipped me with one of my best friends. I think I literally started yelling at them and backing away. I do have to give some people I talk to relationship advice and I'm like, "Why the fuck are you coming to me?! I'm ace."

val looks AWESOME (i forgot to tell you that, sorry). i decided on Anushka Sharma (i think that's how her name is spelled?) for the as-of-yet-unnamed-character who will be at least nicknamed riley

I feel like there's really two ways I could go with what I'm going to put in her history: {1} I could have Siersha try to keep a lot of what happened at her dad's house from Gavriil, or {b} I could make it sort of seem like their friendship is a little co-dependent without really going out and saying it (she's sort of a self-made insomniac and has fairly major anger management, abandonment issues, and some trust issues).

Also, on the part of her history where she gets her throwing knives!
