The common area where all kids hang out

Lou sat in the grass beneath a tree, not really sure what he was supposed to be doing. All he knew was that he was a he today, and he was bored. He tugged on the hem of his slightly too large Paramore t-shirt. He looked around for someone to either mess with or to talk to. He leaned against the tree and waited for something exciting to happen.

Samantha wore her general dress and makeup leaving the rest of her items at her room. She didn't bother to put on shoes because the dress covered her feet. When she saw the cute boy she giggle to herself and sat by a tree. She liked to lurk in the shadows showing off her power.

Lou watched the girl, not feeling particularly attracted to her, but everything about him changed on a whim. He tried to appreciate people for their personalities not looks, so naturally he got up and walked towards the girl. He smiled a little at the girl. "Hey," he greeted her, standing in front of her with his hands in his pockets.

Samantha didn't say anything, she let her gold painted eyes look into his as she tried to see what go fears were. She must have not been feeling it today, like there was a mental wall. She accidentally spoke aloud,"What are your fears?" Her eye searching his.

Lou raised his eyebrows. "Well, I generally start off introductions with names... But, uh, I once had a really creepy dream about hamsters." He made a face that expressed how he felt he ruined his chances of coming off as anything but weird and creepy.

Samantha giggled and looked to the ground and manifested a little hamster on the ground. "Well here comes one now." She smiled and picked it up. She held it out in front of her to the boy. "Scared of it?" She batted her eyelashes.

"No, it's pretty cute... Uh," Lou was pretty sure there wasn't a hamster there before, and he wanted ice cream, so he tried something. "I'm also terrified of ice cream. Especially mint chocolate chip." He smiled innocently at the girl.

She rolled her eyes and let the hamster dissolve in her hands. "Well what are you scare of then?" She crossed her arms over her chest ad was ready to leave. This boy was obviously not the right person to manipulate.

"Why does it matter?" He asked, sitting down in front of her. He was still smiling a little. "I'm Louis," he introduced himself.

Her face stayed still for a moment or two before she let her face soften. She sat in the ground, siting in her heels. "Rosie." She purred, she could tell people her real name, it was her own rules.

Lou grinned, happy to be getting somewhere with the conversation. "That's a lovely name," he complimented, running a hand through his hair to get it out of his face.

"So, what are you doing in the quad?" She said innocently. She pushed her hair to the side letting her hair frame her face. Her shoulders were bare, so it looked as if her skin glowed.

"Nothing, just trying to pass the time," He answered simply. He wasn't sure if he liked her yet, he wasn't sure of a lot of things. Would he be getting his ice cream? What had happened to the hamster? "And you?"

"Oh pretty much the same. Except I'm not killing time." She giggled. "Anyway so what are your powers, if you have any?" She felt as if she shouldn't have said that, she didn't know if he was human or not.

"Oh, well, I can change things..." He frowned at the girl, she was being to risky by talking about powers so openly like that. "Like transfigure them. Are your powers over hamsters?"

"Uh no." She laughed. "I manifest people's fears, also if I wanted to I can have your own fear kill you. Oh and this." She smiled as she put her hands out at the sides and then tilted her head back as her eyes rolled back as the black fog rolled in around them.

Lou's eyes widened for a moment, but then he smiled again. "Well, that's... charming. Does that mean you were trying to kill me with a hamster?" he clarified. He was glad he hadn't given up his real fear, which would also be difficult to die from...

"I wasn't going to kill you no," she said as she let her eyes roll back and put her head down,"I wanted to play, I like seeing people scared." She said evilly as she gave a smirk.

"That's lovely..." Lou said, still frowning. "I like when people laugh."

"I laugh, just not for the right reasons as you would think." She stood up and brushed off the skirt of her dress, "Well I think this is my time to leave. More people to scare, fears to manifest." She waved her hand to express herself further. "You can come with me if you want. I could show you... The dark side." She giggled.

Lou hopped up as well. "Uh, would you mind if I came?"

"No I wouldn't. It'll give me a chance to show you what I can really do." She smiled and said,"Meet me here in thirty minutes I gotta dress my self for the part." She smiled and winked at him before walking away.

Lou nodded, and just plopped to the ground again. He wondered what she would end up wearing. He wanted a costume, but he didn't have one, and wasn't sure if he's actually want to wear it if he had one.

A half an hour later Samantha was wearing her original dress but this time she had her cape and boots and mask on. She knew how easy it was to recognize someone. Her hair was pulled back into a curled ponytail. When she saw him sitting there she laughed,"you waited this entire time for me?"

Lou looked up from his phone. "Yeah, I mean it's easy when there's tumblr..." He replied, getting up. "Nice cape."

"Ya I know it's dorky." She smiled."It's just me though." She said twirling around, letting it fan out around her.

Lou smiled as she twirled, and decided he wanted a cape. "Alright, so what exactly are we doing?"

"Well it's more, what I'm doing and what you'll be watching." Sam giggled and grabbed his hand, dragging him away from the school.

"Naturally," Lou was pulled along behind her.

"How about a frightening walk in the park?" She asked, the world around her seemed to darken at that moment.

"Frightening?" Lou asked uncertainly. He noticed the darkness, an began to wonder if this was a good idea.

"What did you think we were doing?" She asked as they headed for the Gotham Parlk.

"To be honest, I've got no clue..."

"Well, we're going to do my favorite game." She giggled. "Come on." ((You next at the park please :) ))
