Also wow that's a lot of goal variations! Will have to get into the habit of keeping a pad and pen close while reading
In new and exciting news I'm going to be flying to New York on Monday for 10 days to see my fiance for a bit. Not sure whether I'm more excited about 8 hours uninterrupted reading or seeing him...

rofl Sophie... reading of course =P

To answer this (finally).
We opened thread for read books. Our is here
..."
what tea said xD
I should be on more from now on. Sorry it took so long for you to get a reply Sophie

That sounds awesome! Enjoy!!

- Read a book with the name of the tarot card "Judgement" in the text or title
- Read a book where a character is always ready to help, takes care of others or is often taken advantage of.
- Read a book where the edition you are reading was published on the 24th of a month
- Read a book with the word aggregate in the text
- Read a book from a genre that you love
If any book you are planning to start with fits any of those goals, let us know.

Stacie, your job, if you choose to accept it, is to cover the US times. Make sure the spreadsheet is updated and if there's any book that fits any goal =) (you already have spreadsheet permissions. Check out the FAQs and let us know if you have any doubts). And then me and Tea should have the european times covered

Actually i might use one of them to keep the Goals updated or something.

Please post your read books here and don't forget to give us as much info about them as you can. See message 200 for more details =)
Happy Readings everyone =)

My first book I'll be reading will be HP and the Goblet of Fire.
It should be able to cover some goals. I remember from the Gladiator Games, it could cover several things.
It's also long so it will get some page points :)

I've just finished my 1st book of the challenge... Was Into the Darkest Corner
Would work for "Read a book where a character is always ready to help, takes care of others or is often taken advantage of." but that overlaps with RebeccaS. Is also a thriller which is a genre I love
Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend. Mine seems to have been v busy. Went shopping with my sisters yesterday before a family outing to Bonfire Night. Then spent today with my best friend, her husband and 7 month old. Not looking forward to leaving the house at 6.30 tomorrow to get to the airport...

Hi everyone! I'm reading Ursual K Le Guin's The Left Hand of Darkness and Henry James' The Golden Bowl.
I will let you know if they turn out to fit any of the goals!

Read a book where the world ends
Read a book shelved (listed on the first page on GR) as Christian - plurals and spelling acceptable

I've just found a 131 page novella free on amazon listed as Christian. Will shuffle that to the top of my reading list!
I've read Toward the Sunrise at the airport this morning. It's listed as Christian on it's main page so will meet that goal.

Read a book that is in the "Best Arabic Books" Listopia List (https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/3...)

I went straight to the last page after the first, lol.

I have few rereads from it (Austen or Dan Brown) so I can go with one of them
(pg 5 :P)

Does that work for one of the goals?

Does that work for one of the goals?"
it should.
Can you give me sentence, please?
amazon doesn't have preview :(

If goals is to find word in text, we need sentence with it.
Also if your book fits currently open goal, there is no need for you to give us all that info.

Read a book where a person fulfills their dream"
I'm not sure that it is meant this way but in the book I just finished, she fulfills her dream of (view spoiler)

*eye-roll*
Of course you'll find a goal. I just filled the spreadsheet with info :)
I guess it should work if that's her dream

Of course! I'm a trouble making co-captain.

Am at the nice point that I've just finished my driving audiobook and don't have to go anywhere until the challenge starts. Given they normally take me about 2 weeks to listen to it's v good timing!
