If I ever get the book I am reading finished, I have one.

Yes, this one especially. It seems to drag on in some places and it is over 1200 pages so it is taking a while.

That's a big book. I'm forcing my way through right now and while it is interesting, it is hard to read. And every other person is named Thomas. :)

I usually read about 100 pages an hour, but I'm averaging about half that for this one.

Snow is the best part of winter. I love snow!

I have a book that will work for this goal, but I have to read 4 books in sequence before it. So maybe someone will find it earlier.

Finished another book tonight. I'm not the fastest reader, but I'm definitely coming out of my slump :)

I can't believe that December is almost here ... it doesn't seem possible! It's supposed to turn pretty nasty here this coming weekend. I'm not really ready for that. We don't get a lot of bad weather here in southern Illinois, but we do get a few snowstorms throughout the winter.

Well, hope everyone is doing well. I know I saw someone mentioned a surgery and a couple of us are battling illnesses. Hopefully everyone is feeling well/better. Happy reading!!

Yay Tara! Let's hope your slump is gone. And the text of your book starts with "the" in case we get that goal again. How far south are you in Illinois? Most of my relatives live up near Rockford but we have some guests from further south.

I'm good and I'll finally be done my 2001 book by tonight. Had to make more cheesecake last night and I'm on my way out now to deliver them before work. At least no midnight delivery this time. :) And the bears are sleeping.

I actually read my second lowest rated book already for this challenge. :(

I started The Ice Twins today and it's nowhere near my lowest rated book :/ ...

Maybe I should become a book editor, there's clearly a need for good ones out there. It's sad enough that authors can't seem to catch their own spelling, grammar and word use errors, but if the person who is being paid to fix those errors before publication can't do it either... Well I once again weep for humanity.

Yep, it amazing sometimes how many errors there are in some books.

I couldn't believe we didn't already have an ocean cover. Of course the last two books I read before the challenge started were ocean covers, so I guess I was thinking about those. :)

I thought we did too. I know I had one, but I had forgotten it was used for the twitterpated goal.

I needed a quick read tonight and forgot to bring a book so I read this - . It has an ocean on the cover so I'll add it to the goals.
