Ok, thanks! I'm new to this type of challenge. Still feeling my way around. I posted 2 books on the book thread, I think I posted them correctly.

I read 2 books that both fit the goal of published in May. I can only claim the 5 points for one of them, right?

What would be helpful is if on you're second book you can include some info that might come in handy in filling in goals at a later date. Otherwise you did it right.

ANY book over the period of time? So we can bank these books for later tasks? That is awesome!

Yes, any book read during TT can be used for a goal at any time. No matter if it's a book read in the first week and the goal is one given in the last week. That's why is a good idea when you post you're finished books you include info that will be helpful to know if it will work for a future goal. What I did was look at the goal spreadsheet and pick out the details that will be useful for those future goals.

Hi all, sorry for the absence, I've been at a wedding (which was lovely!) and not long been home. I'm about halfway through A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms which won't count because I started it before the 7th, but I also started Snow Like Ashes this morning and am hoping to get that finished soon. You all seem to be doing great so far!

It's no problem at all. As long as we put books on shelves then everything will update with the point when you get chance each morning and night.

Yes, except your second book won't update no matter what I try. I have a quesion in the Captain's Group. I'll understand this stuff eventually. ;)

I just checked my shelf and for some reason it wasn't showing the date read, which is strange as I did add the date when adding it to shelf. So you might want to try again now and see if it shows up.

Yay, that worked. Now I just have to do a page override and we are caught up (I think).

The goal with the casino will be finished tomorrow when I get home from work. I'm also starting a book tomorrow that fits with the non-fiction goal.

Special note from the MODS regarding the Pretty Girls BOM


Page counts for this book vary widely (and the GR default is the Large Print edition!). We have posted for TT players to use a version of 544 pages for their shelf, or let their captain know to use the page override in the team spreadsheet to count the book as 544 pages

You don't have to stick to the schedule, as long as you participate in the discussion. However be careful of posting spoilers if you read ahead as others will stick to the chapter/day breakdown. Also if you finish the book before you've contributed to discussion you'll have to wait to until you do to get those points.

The next book i will be reading is Pretty Girls. It fits in to the new goal too as it was the 37th book added to my TBR.

No K names in Vegas Moon. And no casino, drat it all. I am now reading Vegas Nerve and it has all kinds of characters going into numerous casinos, so once I get it finished it will cover the goal. I'm sure there are characters with K names, but I can't think of one right now - work didn't go well today and I have a headache. Going to bed, so I'll finish the book tomorrow instead of today and I'll let you know then.

Good job, girls! I'm not really happy with myself right now, I don't read as much as I expected, but I have plenty of other things to do...

How's everyone doing? We have passed 500 points, which I think is very good for only a few days in.

I've not long finished listening to . I enjoyed it very much. The series started off a bit slow, but the was enough to like in the first two books to carry on. Book three and this one (book 4) have been much better, so I'm glad I stuck with it. I'm going to start listening to book 5 straightaway.

Finished one book today and I'm halfway through my "R" book, should finish tomorrow. I am freakishly tired for some reason though, so I don't think I'll finish anything else tonight. Night team!

Finished a book and recorded it, hopefully everything transfers over correctly :)

Don't know what I'll pick up next ... will have to wait until tomorrow now because my books are in my daughters temporary nursery and I'm not waking the sleeping baby, ha!
