Grace (Calcat) | 665 comments If you look at your tab on the spreadsheet you can see which of the books you have read have been used. All of the ones you have read so far have been used for goals except The Martian

Ghost in the Stacks Grace wrote: "Happy Thanksgiving to the those of you in the US, Happy Thursday to the rest of us :)"

Thanks! Cooking starts at 9 this Morning!

Wanted to stop by and get caught up on everything before I started.

message 558: by Grace (new)

Grace (Calcat) | 665 comments I am not sure she hasn't been around and has only added 1 book.

Meg your reading of the awful Bound worked for a goal too so at least it was useful :)

Grace (Calcat) | 665 comments Those phrase ones are annoying. According to my kindle I have a couple with "sight for sore eyes" I have been wanting to read so I will get to one soon. We have questions pending about weak at the knees and Chow Down.

I will be out for a good chunk of tomorrow and on Sunday our electricity will be off all day for scheduled maintenance so I won't have an internet connection, or heat, or a cooker uggh

Ghost in the Stacks I just pmed Lena, hoping she will check in.

message 572: by Stacey (new)

Stacey (boydsmom) | 1377 comments All the Six of Crows covers have the same art, they just have different colors for the Title and several of us will finish that soon (or already have). Can that count, or does it have to be all the same?

message 573: by Ghost in the Stacks (last edited Nov 28, 2015 08:51AM) (new)

Ghost in the Stacks That should be able to count.
Its specifically stated Cover art.

Has anyone finished it yet?

message 574: by Stacey (new)

Stacey (boydsmom) | 1377 comments I should be done tonight or tomorrow sometime. Don't know where everyone else is.

message 576: by Grace (new)

Grace (Calcat) | 665 comments I had one that fit and now we have another annoying phrase to find.

Ghost in the Stacks Lol...looks like Grace was one step ahead!

message 578: by megan (new)

megan | 1492 comments We can always use a boon. Our first one expired.

message 579: by Grace (new)

Grace (Calcat) | 665 comments Sorry I was changing it and hadn't seen the post. I am sure the six of crows will be useful for a lot of goals. I think there are worse goals than we have at the minute that a boon might be the only option. I wonder if the other teams are getting as many repeats, I think we have had 5.

message 580: by Grace (new)

Grace (Calcat) | 665 comments Abbie I just found the book I am going to read for the Bachelor Elimination on the Contemporary Romance List :) I do like it when books can be very useful.

message 581: by TheBookishFairy (new)

TheBookishFairy (Lauren) So sorry I have been a bit quiet recently, real life has suddenly gone manic making it difficult to find time to do anything, especially reading! I'm hoping to get some time to read in the next week. These phrase goals are annoying as I haven't been reading books on kindle and I can't search for phrases in print books! XD. Oh well, I'm sure we will get the goals met and hopefully what I'm reading atm will be useful for goals in the future. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Ghost in the Stacks Awesomeness!

Pardon Our Dust!

The mods are currently tinkering behind the scenes. This may cause some random spreadsheet issues. Please be patient with us while we continue to make the Tower Teams challenge even better!

Everything will be back to normal soon. Thanks for understanding!

I think Ellie's Persuasion by Jane Austen works for neighbours but it has been a long time since I read it.

message 590: by Stacey (new)

Stacey (boydsmom) | 1377 comments FINALLY finished Six of Crows! It seemed like it took forever with how spaced out my reading time this week was. I updated my post in the Books Read thread.

I'll check for neighbors, cubed numbers and something to learn in my pile. I am also trying to finish The Bone Season at some point.

message 591: by Stacey (new)

Stacey (boydsmom) | 1377 comments I found a book that has 125 p, but it will be a re-read. I finished it last Feb, is that long enough ago? I can't remember if it's 6 mos or a year.

Definitely know a lot more about it having read the book :-)

message 598: by Grace (new)

Grace (Calcat) | 665 comments Karen That is great unfortunately we already used the longitude book for a goal, the title with 8 or more of the same consonant
