Grace (Calcat) | 665 comments Megan wrote: "Don't we get a boon every few weeks so we can drop a goal or two that are giving us trouble?"

Yes, we can use it to get rid of one, maybe wait until the day before it expires and see what we have left. I have books that work for ISBN and State and Audrey has the vowel one covered. I need to take another look at the series number one.

message 364: by Grace (new)

Grace (Calcat) | 665 comments Megan wrote: "Didn't someone read Looking For Alaska?"

Yes but we used it, this is the second time we have had the State in Title goal.

Megan | 1607 comments Read a book where a character is extremely lucky?

I think we're unlucky in goals.

message 369: by megan (new)

megan | 1492 comments I finished a book today that has 5 Es in the title. Another Year At 32 September Way. Meets the vowel goal.

LOL I know a book that fits Blue Diablo (Corine Solomon, #1) by Ann Aguirre if no one else comes across something, I will happily reread it.

megan | 1492 comments I'll dig through Kindle Unlimited and find something easy with a state title. There are plenty of cowboy romances based around Texas or Montana.

I'm a little nervous about the DQ thing--it would be my first time. I'd love the points, but... I'll be interested to see what the DQs are for Bound. :)

message 380: by Stacey (new)

Stacey (boydsmom) | 1377 comments Are we still looking for a book for the US state goal? I could try to fit Dragos Goes to Washington in this week sometime.

message 381: by megan (new)

megan | 1492 comments I'm reading a Texas book, so you don't have to read it if you don't want to.

Megan | 1607 comments Megan wrote: "I read the book Easy Melody last week. Characters are Seahawks fans. They go to a game and meet players in the book."

All done, then we got 'Read a book with a man on the cover' I used Grace's Bodyguard To A Sex God which I giggled so hard at... I'm very mature.

THEN we got 'Read a book where the edition you are reading was published on the 29th of a month' which we have a book read by Audrey called 'The Texan's Wager' which says first published on the 29th Oct so I could use that. I think its best using that rather than the US state one which I guess fits it because this book fits the date one the best.. :)

message 384: by Grace (new)

Grace (Calcat) | 665 comments We got the goal
Read a book where a character lives in a city

I used Ellie's Clockwork Angel

We then got

Read a book where the amazon ship weight for the hardcover is over 2 pounds

A weird goal but my Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell fitted, I figured it would as the paperback is pretty heavy.

Grace (Calcat) | 665 comments I am waiting on ruling on whether Stuff My Stocking M/M Romance Stories that are Nice and… Naughty by M.J. O'Shea works for a Great Body on the cover :)

I can read Déjà Dead (Temperance Brennan, #1) by Kathy Reichs for Temperance if no one has it.

I am almost done with Blue Diablo (Corine Solomon, #1) by Ann Aguirre such a good series. I just need to finish some reviews.

message 392: by Megan (new)

Megan | 1607 comments I'd say that was a great body... Even if he has man boobs.

Oooh, is that the Bones TV show book :)? I have been wanting to read that but I love the show so much I don't want to ruin it.

I'm feeling awful today so my review for the one book I managed to get through was like 3 sentences, just cannot think.

And Meg I'm glad it isn't just me that found it funny!
