Poll is up!

November Poll

Over the next few months, I would like to change the format a little bit. I would like to focus on reading just one book instead of having two separate selections. Things get really busy with the holidays and I feel a simple approach would be good for now.

So instead of choosing one classic plus a random genre, we will chose from just one genre.

Our November genre will be a Classic book, which has been the foundation of our group.

Please select a one book from our Classics Bookshelf and place your nomination here.

Nominations end on the 23rd at which point the poll goes up.

Please refer to this shelf of Books Already Read so that we don't nominate previous selections.

Thank you!

I have a general question...What does everyone think of this new format? Thank you!

Katie Coleman How about Sylvia Plath, The Bell Jar.

Melanti Last year I might have been disappointed but this year I'm so busy it's good news. I've had very little time to read lately and I'm sure that'll just get worse during the holidays.

I'm up to 3 1/2 books finished since I moved, which is less than 2 books/month. Just a few months ago, I was reading more than that in a week!

I'll refrain from nominating anything for now, since I don't know how much time I'll have to read. I still feel really badly that I didn't get July's book read after I was the one that nominated it in the first place.

Don't feel badly, Melanti. I'm sure you'll get to it sooner or later :)

I'm just listening to The Song of the Lark and would love to read more by her.

I've been wanting to read Cather for some time, haven't gotten around to it, yet.

Kris (My Novelesque Life) (mynovelesquelife) I know she was in my list forever. I'm loving her writing style.

Tom | 9 comments I'm going travelling around Thailand, and have got my copy of 1984 (fingers crossed it stays that one). I'll comment when I get back.

Happy reading, short & sweet treats!

Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ Jenn Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ Schu (jennschureviews) I'm not going to have the time to reread 1984, enjoy all :)
