We are still adding positions in the kingdom, so probably! At the moment we have ladies in waiting, which counts as nobles of a sort - I'm still open to any suggestions about what you may want your character to be :)

Would it be ok to make my royal into a secret scandal e.g affair? As in only half royal and half magic by the Queen? Because I liked the idea of the magic society getting one over by corrupting the royals from within type thing for later use maybe? Playing mind games etc to try and get one over on them. I don't know if that's allowed. But I was also thinking that the Queen possibly got charmed into forgetting and doesn't remember having an affair etc.

Hmmm we are currently expanding our plot to include a prophecy which we will announce soon. Let me discuss this with Ashley - this would be a huge plot change and the prophecy is how we are going to fix the magic/human situation.

Oh! I wasn't trying to change the plot I just thought it would be an interesting twist etc. Sorry.

It's fine! It's only because the whole reason the war between the two species started was because of a human-magic child, so having another one wouldn't make it better (and we're trying to make the magic/human prejudice decrease lol)

Yeah which is also why I was thinking only one or two of her siblings knew about her odd abilities. Helping keep it a secret. I was thinking that the magic who did have the affair with the queen was thinking only of destruction from within but it could go either way, it doesn't have to be purely bad.

After discussing it with Ashley, we both think it would be best if you didn't create a half magic-half human, but you are welcome to create a child that is the result of a different human and the Queen!

If you a half breed made from two different magics does that mean you can do both types e.g you have an affinity for mainly one type but can still do a little bit of the other but it's very weak? Or you can doth both but it's half as weak for both types? Or you can only do one but your blood has the potential for the other? Or you start off with half and half and depending on your preference you end up being able to do one or the other only after you hit a certain age?

Read this to see our information on half breeds. There are only five (because there is a prophecy and nobody has been interbreeding since before King Xavier) and there is an application thread if you want one :)

Ooo ok so they have the power to do both Wiccan (earth) and Witch like powers but are far weaker than either race. Interesting. But because of the mixture they have the potential to so much more with so little.

What happens if you only have one image? It's just I don't like using FC so I usually use the pics I find suit the character I want more so what if you've only got the one image? Should I just centre the image?

Also I don't understand how you can get a picture the exact size you want. You can do it via google but some images won't go down that size.

Okay, so to make an image appear on GR without having to click the link you put

but without the periods.

You can adjust the height and width of any image, with the width being a max of 500 and the height being a max of 1,000

To adjust the height and width, you add

width="number here" height="number here"

so, if you want an image to be say 250 width and 130 height, your image HTML would look like this

<.img src="picture link here" width="250" height="130"/.>

just remove the periods and put the picture link where it says picture link here



does that help? jsyk the alt="description" bit isn't really necessary for adjusting the size of a picture

hmmm horizontally. But also what do I do if I've only got one image? As in there aren't any because I don't like FC? Does that mean I can make the picture a little bigger and just centre it?

Hmm...if its horizontally then I'd say wait for Ashley to answer? cause depending on if you're allowed to make it bigger or not would depend on if you would need to try and find a new size picture or not.

That's a good idea... Also you can resize images and crop them and such on online editing websites :) if that helps

How come all the images and htmls have to be so small? I'm finding it hard to see them. Would it be ok to make them somehow bigger?

Also I think I managed to find a picture so far that doesn't go all squishy.

hmm... I guess thats not her the more that I look at it. If you want an Fc with dark brown hair and brown eyes Im more then happy to help you find one. It would be a lot more simpler if you had a FC

No I'm afraid it's not close to what I wanted which is why I wanted the pic above cause it's the image I had in mind for my charrie or close to it. Darn. This is going to be far tougher than I thought because I don't really like FCing.

I'm sorry why don't you like Fcing? Here are some FC that are similar to the picture that you have. let me know if you like any. Its just simple because you need two pictures. And they need to look the same.
