Both of our current reads will finish in November. We will be taking the month of December off, to catch up, but we will need some new series to start in January of 2016!

I propose the Deed of Paksenarrion trilogy by Elizabeth Moon, starting with Sheepfarmer's Daughter. The series extends into The Legacy of Gird duology and Paladin's Legacy series.

I second The Black Prism aka the Lightbringer series by Brent Weeks

This will be real popular, but I haven't read the latest three.

A lot of these aren't complete, only Thomas Covenant and Paksenarrion are with Abraham finishing in March.

We've read Wurts and Powder mage.

I nominate the Imager Portfolio by L.E. Modesitt Jr.. The first book is Imager.
Though it currently has 9 books in it the first three are a complete series as are 3-8. Book 9 is listed by the author as a standalone. We could either do 1-3 or the whole portfolio.

I do admit that it is difficult to judge if this one is complete. The author will almost for sure write more in the series but all current plot lines are complete. The author tends to add books under the same series name that have to do with completely different characters.

I would like to nominate The First Law series by Joe Abercrombie (The Blade Itself), and +1 to The Warded Man by Peter Brett!

I'll nominate The Secret Texts trilogy starting with Diplomacy of Wolves by Holly Lisle.

I second Way of the Kings (I have yet to read Brandon Sanderson).

The group has already read The First Law series. The Demon Cycle is not complete.

In the past the description has required both that nominated series are complete and that the group has not read them before. Those were not included on this post. Are they not being required anymore? Or was it assumed that everyone knew the rules?

If they completion is not required any more I may change my nomination.

I'd go with assumed, not really any point reading a part series, eg two of ten with Sanderson.

I did the same thing when I joined. If you click on the bookshelf link on the top right side while on a group page you can see what books the group has read.

I don't see these on the list so I'll give it a try:

McKillip's Riddle-Master trilogy & Le Guin's Earthsea trilogy. A little newer would be Larke's Stormlord series.

I'd love to do the 4-volume Otherland series by Tad Williams. First book is City of Golden Shadow.

As recommendations, I am planning on reading Monster Hunter International, Dune Chronicles and/or Wheel of Time in 2016. Have already read Mistborn and Stormlight Archive (looking forward to Stormlight #3).

I will second the Chronicles of Thomas Covenant. I want to reread the first 6 books and then read the last ones for the first time.
