Alternate Realities: A Scifi Book Club discussion

My name is Budd, and I am responsible for this group, I apologise. My favorite books are Watership Down,The Diamond Age,and Armor. I grew up on Trek(TNG) and Wars and watching cheesy b budget sci fi movies and tv shows. I love comics and superhero movies.

My name is Bob. I've been away from Science Fiction (and to a degree Fantasy) for a while. So I thought I'd explore some of the "best of" lists here on GR.
Some of my favorite authors are Clifford D. Simak, H.G. Wells and I'm looking forward to exploring some of the books by Arthur C. Clark and I. Asimov.
My favorite T.V. shows, as of late are "Grim" and "The Clone Wars" animated series. I also love cheesy b-movies such as "Brain From Planet Aros" and "Plane Nine..."
Favorite comic book character has been and always will be.. Batman.

And I have a "cause" as well.. to help the wonderful "local" movie palace "The Loews Jersey" to keep its head above water. (They're under fire from some local political "vultures".)
