She smiled. "I apologize. Did you at least get to have a childhood?" she asked gently.

He nods " they were visiting when the government took me " he says
"I'm sorry to hear that." She shook her head. "I'm happy I got a childhood too. Some don't." she said gently. "Got distant family somewhere in the states I think."
"Who was your favorite?" she asked.
"in general. Mine was my grandmother. We always baked bread when she was around. She didn't believe it store bought bread." she said smiling.
"So I'm pretty mean at making bread. Who was yours?" she asked.
He shrugs " my gramps " he says
"Why is that?" she asked shaking her head. "You are so curt and short." she commented.
" why do you say that " he asks
"Your answers. They're like one or two words. It's hard to carry on a conversation." she stated with a laugh.
He nods " ok ten what should I do about that " he asks
Harmony frowned in thought at that. "Use your words." She stated. "What's your favorite memory of your gramps?" she asked
" fishing this one time I caught a salmon when I was five and u was pulled into the water " he says with a laugh
"See. I knew I could get more than a sentence. I've never been fishing. it was a guys thing." she said with a laugh and roll of her eyes.
"Was it just a one time thing or did you fish whenever he was around?" she asked waiting to see if he'd start asking questions as well.
" all the time " he says with a smile
"So you'd be an expert huh?" She smiled eyes on the road.
He shrugs " you could say that " he jokes
"What's the biggest fish you ever caught? " She asked smiling add she rolled the window down letting the wind blow through the car.
" the one that pulled me in " e says with a laugh
She looked around. "Where to from here?" she motioned to a T intersection.
She turned right smiling. "How much longer?"
" 10 minutes " he says with a smile
"That's a little bit." Harmony said gently. "Won't we need to get supplies?" she asked her dark eyes scanning the skies.
" there should be food there " he says
Harmony nodded going quiet. So lost in her own thoughts that she jumped when her phone went off in her pocket. She pulled it out pulling to the side of the road. Frowning she looked at the Caller ID that said 'Blocked'.
