I've read a few chapters. I just now remember why I loved this book so much! I adore the way this author writes Q.Q.
When I first read this it was the paperback-version, now I'm listening to the audiobook so it's somehow a new experience for me with it :) .

(view spoiler)[Because I know how the story goes, now all the weirdness is a little less confusing. The talking ghost and the talking Pagoda XD. Charlie was such a tragic character, being in love with Vera but also considering he didn't deserve her :( .
I'm also sorry for her, because she lost her best friend and the one she loved. This is going to be a tearjerker. (hide spoiler)]

Part 2
(view spoiler)[Every time I read that part about the pervert I can't understand what Charlie was thinking. Ok, so he needed money. He could have worked for it. The entire "giving his underwear" part is just too creepy. >.< (hide spoiler)]

Part 3
(view spoiler)[So, this is the saddest part, when Charlie abandons Vera. I'm still not sure why he did that on Valentine's day. He was probably sad when he realized he wasn't good enough for her so he decided to alienate her completely. And that was his biggest problem, not even trying to the guy Vera deserves. He chooses the easy rout and that lead to his death. Stupid Charlie, you are so stupid!
Also, what's up with Mick and why does he hate her? I kinda forgot this part since 2012. (hide spoiler)]

Part 4
(view spoiler)[Ah, and now this is getting depressing. Charlie really went all bad when he told Vera's secret. I'm so proud she managed to not fall to their level :) . The part with the naked guy who opened the dor was just plain creepy, and I must admit, a little funny XD. (hide spoiler)]

Part 5 - the end
(view spoiler)[It still brought me to tears, when Vera read Charlie's last napkin: "I love you Vera, I always have". God, I'm amazed she didn't use thos napkins to wipe her nose. I was in some serious need of some napkins by that part. :(

This really was a wonderful story, yet so heartbreaking. (hide spoiler)]
