Lena Is anyone else beyond confused about the ending? I really enjoyed this whole series, but after finishing, I just don't know what happened. TBH, I never did read A Series of Unfortunate Events, so I don't know if there was there a connection there I'm missing or something?

But I don't get where Snicket's off to with the statue and what he's trying to do. And what happens with Kit and Ellington? Do they end up teaming up or was that handshake just 'nice to meet you'. And I'm probably just reading too far into this, but in the pictures at the beginning and end all have clocks. Do those times mean anything?

I was really hoping we would find out what the S stood for in Theodora's name too. That is literally going to bug me forever.

I knew the series would end with a lot of unanswered questions, but I kind of thought this was a bit excessive.

Laura Ah, that's just the literary style of Snicket. The Averse (short for ASOUE and ATWQ universe) is shrouded in mystery, and all of the Snicket Works add together. A large amount of the fandom is solving mysteries and theorising, namely sugar bowl theories. And I say that the S stands for Sunny! Just read ASOUE; it may frustrate you, but it's a great read and might get you thinking about some aspects of ATWQ.
