Belle Blackburn | 166 comments I need to convert to a mobi file and there are several on-line sites to do this. I have no idea if these sites are trustworthy. Anybody use one they can recommend?

Mike Robbins (mikerobbins) | 66 comments That is what I do, and it works very well; it's also free. But it pays to inspect the resulting MOBI carefully for formatting problems afterwards - I check mine on both a dedicated Kindle reader and on a tablet.

Belle Blackburn | 166 comments I watched a tutorial about using Calibre. After it has been converted and is in the Calibre library, how do you save it to your computer so it can be emailed? Can you attach files from the Calibre library?

Tom (tom_shutt) | 87 comments Hi Belle,

After it is converted and in the Calibre library, there should be an option along the top to "Save to Disk"; this lets you choose a location on your computer, likely your Documents section, where you would like to save your book. It'll create a folder with your name and store the book in all its converted formats inside. From there, you can attach it to emails the same way you'd attach any other file. =)

Belle Blackburn | 166 comments Thanks, Tom. I downloaded Calibre and am attempting to convert but the only input file option is epub. I tried right clicking and cannot get any other options. So I am chasing that rabbit for now. I am such a tech wizard.
