Francisco Ponce palmero | 107 comments It's surprising to me that the best horror writer in the world hasn't a thread here. King could be my favourite but Klein is stylistically superior. Have you read him? What do you think about his work and the fact that he is so unprolific?

Holly (goldikova) The fact that I have only 2 books written by T. E. D. Klein on my bookshelves is one of my greatest regrets as a reader. However I do appreciate the fact that he has never wasted my time and money by writing a book I did not enjoy. Right now he and Adam Nevill are sharing the title of my favorite horror author. I really like Klein's style and I love the way his mind works; this man can work the urban paranoia themes better than anyone.

Not sure which you would prefer.

Dark Gods by T.E.D. Klein Dark Gods has 4 novellas; "Nadelman's God" is my personal favorite.

The Ceremonies by T.E.D. Klein The Ceremonies is a full novel that Klein expanded from an earlier novella, "The Incident at Poroth Farm". The two main characters give Klein a chance to show off his skills with both rural and urban paranoia.

You can't go wrong either way.

Bill (llibrro) | 1113 comments I'm currently reading The Ceremonies, which is my first TED Klein. So far his style seems lovecraftian and that's good. I'm only at about 5% and so far I like it. Will look into Dark Gods. Don't know anything else about him.

Anthony Hains | 140 comments Dark Gods is outstanding. I especially like the first two novellas in that book: "Children of the Kingdom" and "Petey".
