Started today.

Nice to be back in Darujhistan. And with Kruppe!

So far the tone is a little less bleak. At least it seems so after Reaper's Gale.

Lol. I had a quibble about running which I'll hopefully remember for in the next thread.

Started this yesterday and skimming through the list of characters I saw Rallick Nom listed. I can't believe we are finally going to find out what happens with him 7 books later!

I almost feel like I should reread GotM--having trouble remembering what was going on with some of the characters. (Not really--I know lots of people say these books are so complex and well-plotted that they need to be reread to fully appreciate them, but they are also freaking LONG, so I doubt I will take the time to reread them when there are so many other things I want to read.)

No way. I'll live underappreciating the books. There isn't any way I'm ever doing a reread. :)

Never say never. I read the cast list and noticed we were revisiting the initial book.

I should be starting this in the next week. I need to finish my book club book and Ancillary Sword but then I'm in.

I've just started this after a bit of a break from the series. I'm enjoying it so far, although I have to have the Malazan Wiki open while I'm reading to remind me who some of these characters are we haven't seen since the first book! Lovely to be back in Darujhistan though!

I used the the Malazan Wiki quite a lot, both for character reminders and for the maps.
