The books for November 2015 are The Girl in the Ice by Søren Hammer published November 10 and unless someone decides differently we will have a Henning Mankell book The Dogs of Riga. As always I will put a book in if it's published in November. Good reading.

Oblivion or Into Oblivion: An Inspector Erlendur Novel by Arnaldur Indriðason is a mess up on my part. So I've included it in November.

Lucy Horodny | 20 comments Arnaldur Indridason is fast becoming my favourite author. Just finished "the draining lake". What an amazing story! So beautifully crafted with detail and precision in every sentence. Just such an engrossing read. Have now read three of his and am hunting for more.

This looks like it is going to be published in February, 2016.

Sandy It's kind of strange with the 2 titles. "Into Oblivion" is set for Feb. 2016 from Minotaur Books. "Oblivion", which is the same story going by the promotional blurb, has been out since July of this year from a different publisher.
Great read, by the way.

Read Hostage last December. Good series and good read.
New book out September 2015
The Chosen, Fredrika Bergman & Alex Recht # 5. 9/15. iBook. Also published other languages as The David's Star.....from my searches seems to be only five books in this series....
But she has a new series with two books, as yet not found in English by me, with a main character Martin Benner.......

Lori (goodreadscomlorik) | 22 comments I enjoyed The Chosen...as I have other books I have read by Kristina Ohlsson. One of my favourite authors...

Well I have Henning Mankell's "The Dogs of Riga" in my personal library and the public library has given me Lotte and Soren Hammer's "The Girl in the Ice" and Kristina Ohlsson"s "Hostage". But I can't get "Oblivion" for the life of me. I have the public library on hold for "Into Oblivion".

Finished reading The Girl in the Ice by Lotte Hammer, thought there were rough spots in the translation, he would have the wrong person replying confusing me. Otherwise the story was a good one and was interesting.
