Audiothing Have any of you read anything by Colin Bateman? I'm looking for a new author and noticed his name coming up

Paul Perry (pezski) | 233 comments Hi Bec

I've read a few of his. some are very good, although he can be a little hit-or-miss. I'd recommend Divorcing Jack and Murphy's Law.

One author I would recommend who writes in a similar vein and is consistently brilliant is Christopher Brookmyre. His crime novels are tense, funny and pointed; the epitome of Pratchett's saying that "funny and serious are not opposites". They do tend to be very sweary and violent.

Audiothing Thanks Paul, and for the bonus recommendation, I just followed the link to Christoper Brookmyre, sounds very interesting, love the "tartan noir" handle!
I review audiobooks, so hopefully he will have something on Audible,
Bec
