Okay, so here you can post what type of specific help you are looking for with your writing, and request help from someone who knows the way out of your plight.

Melissa Veracruz (melissaveracruz) | 3 comments My next MC is in college... which poses a serious problem for me.

I went to college while raising children and working full time, so a regular college schedule is alien to me. Can someone who is IN college or knows someone IN college or recently attended college give me their schedule for Freshman and Sophomore year?

Really interested in times and which days they were on.

I took night and Saturday classes which were loooong, so again, the actual college life is foreign.

In other words, HEEEEELLLLLP!

Hello, Melissa. I'm not in college myself, but someone around here must be.

Any help, people!?

message 5: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer Priester (jenniferpriester) Unfortunately I myself am not in collage, have never gone, and have no plans on going so I can't really help you with what you are asking but have you checked into doing online college? I don't really know what class options there are, but my sister recently chose the online option which has been really good for her as she has three young kids and a job at a daycare. She is working on getting her degree in early childhood education and loves how flexible the online courses are. I'm not really sure how it all works but I think she said something about being able to choose when she takes each class and not having to have a set time so the next class she takes can be at a different time if needed.

I'd love to help, but I don't really understand what you're asking.

Renee Umm okay so I've finished the first manuscript, but now I don't know where to start...the actual editing. Iv'e re-read over and found places that I need to re-write...so do I go from there? and i think I need to work out plot again because my ideas changed....

so do I do a re-write or what do you all think?

Lesley Ogilvie Rice (lesleyogilvierice) | 3 comments I think we all know how it feels to write something where the idea changed on the way through. I'd suggest you create an outline from your existing manuscript, maybe turn it into a set of bullet points on index cards, that's how I work. Then take a good hard look at the end. Did the story come out the way you wanted it to? If not, what do you need to change so it does? Once you have the destination, the end point of your story, you'll see how the rest needs to be changed in order to get there.
