Lovers of Paranormal discussion

Hey everyone! My name is Hanna and I'm new to this group. I loooove fantasy,paranormal and science fiction books. Feels like no one has talked about the Twilight Saga. Or it's maybe me just not looking through the subjects carefully... Lol. But i ADORE the twilight books. Anyone want to discuss the books? Maybe favorite characters, books, chapter and stuff like that. But I think we can start off with favorite character. My favorite character is Alice Cullen. She is so sweet and cool. Wright down below who your favorite character is and we can chat!

The Twilight Saga has been discussed in many topics several times. The general consensus seems to be that most people are not fans of it (although there are a few of us who are). I personally enjoyed all the books and rated them all 4 or 5 stars. Jacob is probably my favorite character. He grows so much as a character between Twilight and Breaking Dawn!

I wouldn't say most people aren't fans of Twilight. The series was wildly popular (as were the movies) and many adult readers attribute Twilight for getting them back into reading, particular YA novels. However, as always seems to happen with popular things, they end up getting a bunch of haters as they reach a wider audience.

Overall, I personally thought it was a good series, with an interesting overall plot and likeable characters. I would've liked a more epic ending, but it was still good!

Has anyone read or planning to read the new Twilight book that just came out with the genders reversed?

I have the new book that came out but some how I can't make myself to read it. I think I have had enough of Twilight. Has anyone read NIGHTLIGHT Its hilarious.

Yes! I have the audiobook of Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined and will be listening to it after I finish all the books I am currently reading. Everyone I have talked to that has read it has enjoyed it and some have liked it more than the original.

I have all the books and the movies. I'm totally 100% a Jacob fan. he's my favorite, I just happen to think that the relationship between Edward and Bella at times was very unhealthy.

I will have to look up the Night light one. I have no interest in reading the new one with genders reversed though. Jacob is perfect the way he is, no reason to switch. I also like Sam too.

Loved the Twilight books. I am team Edward.

Loved them all. Read each one in a day (so four days total)...needless to say I didn't sleep much. Go Team Edward! :D

Team Jacob, Forever! Paws up!!!

I was torn between both teams while reading the books, because I really love Jacob too. I know, Team Rensemee, that covers both! :P

Maybe people should nominate Twilight next month for our 'Group Buddy Read' when I send out the call for Book of the Month nominations? Then we can all re-read it as a group. Perhaps it's time we revisited the series, in light of the completion of all the movies.

That sounds like a good idea. I haven't read them in a while.

Since this came up and a lot of people were like "Hmmm ... maybe a group read..." I made it the September CULT FAVORITE re-read.
