Diane | 43 comments I got a pop-up for a Surprise $4.95 Sale. I was thrilled since I hadn't seen one in about a year. I tried to purchase a book from the sale and was told that I was unable to purchase the chosen book because I already participated in the promotion (When? How?). I contacted Live Chat and explained by dilemma. I was told that the book was not one of the books on the list of the Surprise Sale (so basically that I was making this up or delusional, etc.). No other solution. Thankfully, it wasn't a book that I HAD to have so I let it go. It is more the principle of the matter, since I have always had excellent customer service up until now.

Kristie | 2212 comments That is frustrating.

Just a suggestion...I'm not sure if Audible reps check in on the Technical Stuff discussions, but I know they occasionally check any discussions in the Ask Audible section. You may want to re-post this topic there to see if you can get a response.

Diane | 43 comments Update: An additional Audible credit mysteriously appeared on my account since my last post.

Robin P | 1726 comments I've had a couple of odd issues like this over the years and reps were always immediately helpful, even giving a credit which could be used for any book when the issue was about a 4.95 sale. That kind of thing pays off for them as it keeps me very loyal.
