Synopsis-

Excessive climate engineering left the Earth perilously exposed to cosmic radiation, and the danger was far worse than anyone could have imagined. Many people died at first, but those who were fortunate enough to survive and adapt to the radiation would never be the same again. Dormant genetic material began to "Awaken" in the DNA of millions of people, including a gene that scientists call-- "The Genesis-6 gene," a gene that introduces retro-viruses into the body's cells. Just two years after this retro-viral outbreak known as "The Turning," small portions of the human race would mutate into beast-like human beings with extraordinary magical powers and uncanny physical abilities.

It was supposed to be a glorious time for the human race, a new stage in human evolution some said, but not everyone reacted well to the new blood that coursed through their veins. Many of the infected mutants became abominations, instead of the enlightened beings the scientific communities expected. It was only a matter of time before all mutants were rejected by the majority of humankind.

But when a secluded medical facility offers hope for mutant-kind, a mutant and his mutating wife learn that not all is what it seems after a secret coven of scientists seek to use mutants in an agenda that would re-shape society as we know it.
