The Page Turners discussion

Since we are already partway through the month of November, we've decided to hold a mini monthly read. To correlate with our shortened reading period, we ask that all nominated books be relatively short (350 pages or less). If you want to recommend a book that is longer than 350 pages, feel free to comment on the December 2015 thread instead.

If you would like to nominate a book, please comment below with the title and author. Please use the "add book/author feature so we can easily keep track of the nominations. Nominations will remain open until November 10th.

Also, it would be helpful if you could provide input regarding the following question:
Should Monthly Reads follow an assigned reading schedule (i.e. certain chapters are assigned to be read each week), or should the reading pace remain in the hands of each individual participant?

I don't know what book to nominate, but I would like to give input on the second question.

I really think it should just be the reading pace of the individual. I read a book a day, I honestly would not be able to only read a certain portion of the book a week. Also, if it's a book that some members have already read before, this might allow them to give their thoughts (with the spoilers hidden of course).

I agree with Jessica about allowing everyone to read at their own pace. Maybe when posting spoilers, people can tag them as a spoiler, as well as say what page they're on, letting other members know if it's safe to read the spoiler yet or not.
