Thanks, Barb and Kimberly! ☺
I already have an "S" book in mind (a classic read for another group), and need to decide on my "R" book (there are many in Mount TBR from which to choose). I'm getting impatient to finish my current book, which I've been reading about a week now. I was hoping to knock off a sizable chunk of it over the weekend, but was roped into helping a friend put in her garden -- which meant I did hardly any reading at all.

Still working on my "S" book, about halfway through and sure to finish before week's end, so figured I might as well consider this challenge done.

Thanks, Marisa and Barb! I'll probably make good progress in TSFR again tonight if the storms keep me up as they did last night. Which was probably a good thing, seeing as the tornado sirens went off at 12am and again after 12:30. Okay here, and not near as bad as Nebraska, but they hit pretty close north and south of me. :-\

Barb: Uh-huh! Between the fan and the thunder, I would have never heard the sirens last night if I'd been sleeping. Thankfully, Wisconsin does not see near as many tornadoes as states like Nebraska, Oklahoma and Kansas -- which, unfortunately, means some people do not take the sirens seriously. There were two (EF1 and EF2) that hit one city on the western edge of the state, and three in my area (one of which was an EF3). With the hot, humid weather there is a chance of rain and/or storms every night through Saturday. :-\

I grew up and lived with Hurricanes - but tornadoes scare the spit out of me. When a Hurricane hits, you know where it's hitting - everywhere. Tornadoes feel like nature's Russian roulette...stay safe!
Thanks Jennifer and Marisa. Made it through another night. We had some storms around 1am, but not as severe as Monday-into-Tuesday. Woke to a grey day that made me want to curl back under the covers and stay there all day. Round three hit about 8 o'clock this morning, severe t-storms with tornado warnings. One of the trees in front of my building lost a good-size limb during that squall. Luckily, it fell parallel to the sidewalk instead of across it or onto cars parked out front. Light rain the last hour or so, and we're supposed to see a little sun late this afternoon before round four moves in. Gotta love this time of year! ☺
