i wrote out the history. let me know if there's anything you'd like changed and whatnot and i should have the topic with everything on it out soonish.

The Luscari Crime Family
Even before the Luscaris were a gang, they were a closely-knit family. The friends of one were the friends of the whole -- and the same went for enemies, of which there were plenty. For such a small clan, the Luscaris were extremely good at pissing people off. At the heart of these enemies was, of course, the city council.

During this time, though, since the Luscaris had neither the support nor the funds to form their own rebellion, they joined forces with the Resistance. Eventually, after the Luscaris amassed a significant amount of wealth and power within the resistance, they broke off, finally able to form the gang they wanted to. They were well known due to their previous achievements in their resistance and quickly came to be feared. Within months, any gangs that may have been a threat disappeared -- some less willingly than others.

Flash forward several generations: Marie Luscari is in charge now and trying desperately to ensure the Luscari name was still one to be feared (a rather difficult task, especially with the presence of other newer and larger gangs). She did an impressive job, managing to keep a low rate of capture or death while still doing a good amount of damage. That is, until she was murdered by the member of Diablor, one of the aforementioned newer and larger gangs.

Control was lost, until Marie's brother, Draco took her place. He earned the position through a successful revenge raid, mainly orchestrated by his daughter Pheonix "Phi" Luscari. It was expected she would take the place of second in command once she came of age. She was smart, widely respected, and most importantly: she was loyal to her family. But, like all good things, this came to an end. Phi began doing things behind her family's back, and after many threats and attacks on her life, Phi was kicked out. Because if there's one thing the Luscari Crime Family takes more seriously than the crimes, it's the family.

I like it, but if you're going to mention Pheonix as Phi later on, you should probably say "by his daughter Pheonix "Phi" Luscari" instead of just "by his daughter Pheonix."
