((ok))Later that evening after Jeydon gotten his homework done, eaten dinner, and played video games he finally decided to check his phone. He debated on whether or not he should really text Vee or not. Jeydon decided to text her anyways.
From Jeydon: To Vee :
Hey Vee, It's Jeydon. Want 2 make plans 4 the weekend?
He looked over the text several times before he finally just hit send. He sighed nervously as he wondered if she still wanted anything to do with him. Miles came and jumped on his bed, and sat down purring.
Vee had stayed mostly locked up in her room except to eat dinner. She was in her room organizing her books, sketches, and clothing to where they belonged. She barely had anything done. It gave her a reason to be alone in her room without her parents saying she was depressed, which she was. She heard her phone beep from her bed and went over to check the it. She only had one person who would text her, which was Jeydon. She sat done and read the message. It was hard to tell if he meant something fun, or something involving school. So after a few minutes of debating in her head, she texted back. From Vee, To Jeydon:
What do u have in mine?
Jeydon smiled when he received the text. He quickly responded with. From Jeydon, To Vee
We could do hw or study at your place or mine :)
Jeydon sighed as he leaned back against his bed. His mom still was not home from work. She took a lot of shifts since his dad was no longer in the picture anymore. Jeydon got up looking through his closet debating what outfit would impress Vee tomorrow. He already took a shower so he knew he would at least smell better tomorrow. He half smiled to himself not remembering when was the last time he put effort into his appearance for someone else. Hopefully she did notice and his efforts were not in vain. He sighed as he finally decided on what to where and put it out alongside one of his nice pairs of shoes, and a bottle of cologne.
Vee waited for his reply instead of getting up to continue organizing her room. She message came from him fast, which made her wonder he was really looking forward their time together. It made her smile, because she hadn't had anyone so eager to be with her in a long time. Especially a boy. She thought about what to say back before sending. From Vee, To Jeydon:
those sound good. Can we meet up at ur place? I'm still trying to get settled here
Vee looked up to her room, she really didn't have much, just a few shoes, books, clothing, and that was about it she knew she could probably finish by the weekend but still preferred his place.
Jeydon smiled instantly when his phone sounded with a new text. He hoped it was from Vee. It was.From Jeydon, To Vee:
Sounds good, maybe you could come over on Saturday. I'll see you tomorrow at school. :)
Jeydon then leaned back, and pulled the covers over his head. He always slept like a caterpillar in a cocoon, it kept him warm all night.
The next morning he woke up to his mom knocking on the door. "Morning sleepyhead time for school." She said with a sweet smile. "I gotta get going." His mom said with a sigh. Jeydon frowned slightly, "But Mom you just got home, and I've barely seen you lately." She sighed, and sat on the end of his bed. "Jeydon, honey, I'll take a day off soon, but the bills have to be made." She said as she ruffled his hair, and stood up. "Bye." She gave him a peck on the cheek, and walked out of the room.
After Jeydon's mom had left, he groaned and got out of bed. He went to the bathroom, and did the normal things people do in the morning. After that he went to change into the outfit he picked out the night before.

After he was done getting dressed. Jeydon checked his appearance in the mirror, and tried fixing his hair neatly. He rubbed some cologne on his neck and wrist, so that he would smell better than the day before. He hoped he both looked nice, and smelled nice. Jeydon hoped that Vee would think so as well. He grabbed his bag, and keys. Jeydon hopped in his car, and started to drive to school, as he sang along to the songs playing on the radio.
From Vee, To Jeydon:kk. C'ya.
Vee texted him back. After that she went back to her room and her own life. Her boring sad life where she had nothing to do. She knew what she was doing was wrong, she didn't need a friend. She couldn't risk being caught. Yet she couldn't stop herself. Jeydon a nice guy, he made her forget what was wrong with her. As she went asleep, vee thought about really good. Would it all be worth it? The next day Vee woke up, not sure if she was looking forward to school. After getting ready and making her way to school, Vee went to her to her locker to grab her books. She ignored everyone, as always. She was dressed in a black skirt, lose gray sweater, black stocking, and black ankle boots. She wasn't pushing it... was she?
Jeydon stopped by the cafeteria before class. They served breakfast at the school. He grabbed a fruit cup, juice box, and a banana. They were allowed to eat break fast in class as long as they had the ticket from the cafeteria proving that they bought it at the school. Jeydon stopped by his locker grabbing his book and notebook before class. Once there he sat in the back like the day before. He got his stuff prepared, and waited for the teacher to come into the classroom. Jeydon sighed as he propped his head on his hand, as he waited for Vee to come to class. He hoped that she did not get to scared from him, that she never came back to the school.
Vee walked down the hallway and entered her first period class. Just like yesterday, she went to sit in the back. As she headed to her seat, she was a bit surprised to find Jeydon early, not to mention dressed up. "Good morning," she said softly as she reached her chair next to him. Her eyes scandal him, finding him looking very handsome, not to mention how nice he smelled. She sat down and set her stuff down. She moved her bangs out of her eyes and glanced at him, smiling again. After thinking about him and what she was doing last night, she ended up choosing to let him be friend her, but not to much to where he can find out her secret.
Jeydon smiled instantly when Vee walked into the class room. When she had sat down at the desk, he looked over at her. Jeydon thought that Vee looked very cute today. He could not help but check her out, but then felt bad for doing so. She is so cute, and adorable. He thought to himself as he looked at her. "Hey Vee, Good Morning." He said in a chipper tone. He adjusted his beanie, and glanced over at her again biting his bottom lip nervously. He decided eating would not make him as nervous. So he peeled his banana, and drank some of his juice box. "Would you like my fruit cup, Vee? You can have it if you are hungry." He said as he offered her the bowl of fruit. It was a variety that included: strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, mango, apple,banana and much. more. It was a pretty decently sized container.
Vee heard his thoughts and couldn't help but blush shyly. Did he really think she was cute and adorable. She looked at food he had, and after deciding if she should, she reached for it. "Thanks," she said. "But isn't eating in class not allowed? In my old school you could only have breakfast at the cafeteria." Still she took a spoon and opened the fruit cup, scooping up a strawberry. It was nice of him to share, especially since she didn't eat breakfast. Her thoughts went back to what he thought about her as she waited for him to answer, eating the strawberry. Did this mean he liked her? Maybe that's why the girls seemed jealous. They probably knew something she didn't.
Jeydon chuckled, "Ya we are, as long as we prove we bought it in the cafeteria." He said as he waved his ticket in front of her, and set it on her desk. He slurped his drink loudly as he finished off the rest of the banana. He got up and threw the peel and empty juice container away. As he got back, the teacher came in the class. He started attendance right away. A lot of teachers just usually lectured, and then assigned work. It was supposedly getting them prepared for college.
Vee looked at the slip he held in his hand. That seemed appropriate for the school to do. Except what would be the difference if they brought it from out? She didn't bother asking and just finished her fruit cup, leaving the empty cup aside to through it out later because the teacher came in. She sighed and held her head up it her hands, her elbow on the desk. Seven more hours to go until they get out of school and would be able to go home. It was a good thing it was Thursday though. That means they only had Friday left until the weekend. Usually she didn't have any plans, as always, but she did plan to study with Jeydon.
Jeydon sighed as he took notes. The teacher finally was done with his lecture, and passed out the homework assignment that was due at the end of the class period. Today it was super easy, since he actually paid attention to what the teacher was talking about. He did not even have to use his book. He was one of the first people to turn it in, which surprised the teacher. After that he returned to his desk, he glanced over at Vee to see if she was done. It looked like she was not. Dang I wanted to talk with her, I hope she gets done soon. He thought automatically to himself.
Vee took some notes, hoping that would help her with the assignment he spoke about earlier, except when he handed it out she had no idea what to do. She stared at it for a few seconds before filling out the ones she knew, which wasn't much. So maybe she didn't pay attention in class, but that was only because she was thinking of what Jeydon had thought about her. In all her time ever since she could hear people's thoughts, she's only heard people call her a freak for how's she's acting. He was the first to think of her like that. Did this mean he likes her? Maybe he does like me... or maybe it's all in my head. she sighed and continued to work, seen that Jeydon actually finished it pretty early. She grabbed herself a book to finish when she heard his thoughts. It made her smile, so she made sure to try her best to finish as soon as she could. Within a few minutes, leaving at less five minutes to class, vee finished and got up to hand it in. She went back to her chair and sat down.
Jeydon smiled lightly when Vee was finally finished. "How do you think you did?" He asked trying to make conversation. Most of the other people in class where now just getting finished too, and the volume of the room raised with the chatter of people mingling with one another. He glanced back at her. Dammit why is she so cute. He looked down thinking. This makes it even harder, I can't do it, I think I might actually.. His thoughts were interrupted by someone hitting him in the back of the head with a paper ball. Jeydon looked around to see who did the crime, but everyone was acting completely normal. He fiddled with the bracelets on his wrist.
"Honestly... I don't know," she admits with a sad look. She knew she should be trying her best, but with her thoughts- along with others- she didn't focus. "You made it look like it was easy," she told him. Just as she said that she heard his thoughts. She froze, not sure if she heard it right. Maybe it was someone's else. But no, she was positive it was his. As much as she was happy that he thought she was cute, she was only concerned with what he couldn't do. What was making it harder? Just like that, thoughts stopped coming to her. It was just we her empty head with her own thoughts. No. No. No. Not now... I need to know. Vee wished the paper ball wasn't thrown. Now what would she do. She decided not to dwell over it, so she asked, "your looking fancy today, what's the occasion?" Hopefully it was nothing, maybe it had to do with studying. He was probably worried he wouldn't focus. Yah that to be it. It just had to.
Jeydon nodded, "Ya I just seemed to remember everything from the lecture today, which is surprising since I never do." He said with a slight chuckle. "What do you mean dress up? It just a shirt and jeans." He said blowing it off, but secretly inside he was really happy that she noticed that he tried to dress nice today. Of course he would not tell Vee that the real reason was her. She would probably think he was some sort of creep, after they just met and all the day before. He glanced at the ground, and smiled happy that they were talking, and that she had noticed his effort for the day.
"We'll you look really nice," she assures him, even though he probably knew that. Then out of no where, vee remembered a question she wanted to ask him. "Hey... I forgot to ask. What time do you want me to come over at your place this Saturday?" She asked. Just before she had slept yesterday it came to her, and she didn't bother texting him then because he was probably asleep. Plus it would have been weird to text at a time like that.
Jeydon grinned, "Thanks you look good too." He said with absolute sincerity. He scratched his head as he was trying to think of the answer to her question, "Hmm you probably can come over at two or three in the afternoon." Jeydon said to Vee. "My mom will probably be at work thought if your uncomfortable with that we could always just go to your house." He said as he bit his bottom lip slightly. The bell soon rang. "I think we have the next class together too, so I'll see you there." Jeydon said to Vee as he grabbed his book bag and headed towards his locker to ditch his old books and grab the new ones. After he did that, he checked his hair in the mirror to see if it still looked half way decent . He then decided to head to the next class. Hopefully Vee didn't think he was to weird yet.
"Thanks," she said happily and looked down to her outfit, examine the black stocking, short black skirt, and lose sweater. Maybe it wasn't bad dressing up, it would get attention like she thought it would. If it did then she'll lose down on how nice she dresses up. "Okay... uh... I'll think about it," she tells him. She really did need to think about it, because theirs been so much things happening with him lately that she wasn't sure what she wanted to do. This is their second day together and yet he's a big part of her life, only because he has something he's dealing with that involves her, plus he seems interested in her too. "C'ya," she told him and got up to leave, heading to her own locker to switch her stuff for class. Josh, the guy that dared Jeydon, walked up to him in the hallway. "Yo, what's up dude. Guess what," he spoke to him with a grin. "Everyone is talking about the dare, people over heard me and Jake talking about it. As a matter of fact some people are betting that you'll do it and others are betting that you won't. But theirs few. Dude you got this!" Josh said excitedly, clapping Jeydon on the back. "I know you won't back out, you never do. Well I got to go. I heard the girls talking about how Kelly wants to hook up with me." With that, josh walked away from him towards the girls locker room where he knew he would find Kelly.
Jeydon sighed, he did not really want to do the dare. Did he really want to lose his virginity for a dare, was that even worth it. Jeydon grabbed his books as he headed off to class. His mind was heavy, and now the dare was going around school. He hoped Vee would not find out about it. He knew he should of just said right away that he did not want to do, and he was backing now, but his pride was to big for that. He finally walked into the classroom, and sat down in the empty seat that was next to the one Vee sat in the other day. He could not stop thinking about what Josh said. Is that really all that people cared about, didn't they have a life, instead of betting if he was going to sleep with some girl or not.One of the three girls that talked to Vee the other day came up to him. She stood by his desk twirling her hair. "Hey Jeydon." She said sweetly while batting her eyelashes and twirling her hair. Jeydon glanced over at her, "Oh hey Robin." He said with no interest. She giggled in return. "So maybe we could do something this weekend?" Robin said as she leaned over his desk trying to get his full attention. She basically put her boobs right in his face. "I mean if your interested?" She said with a wink.
Vee walked into class, actually smiling a little as she thought to herself. She couldn't hear anyone's thoughts now, which she was glad for because she didn't want her mood ruined. But as she stepped into chemistry lab, she found one of the girls that had spoke to with Jeydon. Not only that, but she was exposing herself to him and smiling, almost in a flirtatious way. She quickly got out of the room, not wanting to go near them. God I can't believe it. What was I thinking. He doesn't like me, no. He even said he liked that chear leader. Not only that, but he seemed to be with another girl too. She sighed, her mood brought down now. So much for being happy before. But she knew she shouldn't be, because it was none of her business who he likes and who he wants to hookup. She was just a freak, that's what everyone usually thought of her. She stayed waiting in the hall, not wanting to walk into seeing them again, even if it meant she would be late.
Jeydon frowned slightly, "I can not actually, I have plans with Vee." He said to Robin kindly. Robin rolled her eyes, "Why do you want to hang out with that freak. You could have some of the hottest girls in school, but yet you still choose a freak." She said as she walked away in disgust. He sighed, those kind of girls were annoying. Jeydon waited for Vee to come in the class. He wanted to talk to her some more. Jeydon sighed as she was taking longer for her to come, maybe she got lost. He knew he should of went with her, it was only her second day. Jeydon sighed, and glanced at Robin who was looking at him glaring and obviously gossiping with other girls. Where are you Vee He thought several times sadly.
Vee knew it wasn't a good, but she stayed out in the hallway up until the bell rang. She just wanted to make sure she didn't walk in to see the two together. So after a minute Vee knocks on the door and waits. The teacher opens it for her, speaking loudly for everyone to hear at the same time, "I don't allow tardiness in my class Miss. Sky. But since your new here I'll let it pass." With that he let's her pass and she quickly makes her way to her stool at the table. She didn't make any eye contact, not even with Jeydon. But everyone was staring at her. She was so embarrassed. She knew she was supposed to stay away from this type of attention, so no one would acknowledge her or her secret. She sat down on the stool and set her stuff down, her head down so her hair could cover most of her face. Up at front, the teacher was talking again. "Today well be mixing liquid elements over a bunsen burner and say what type of reactions will happen. You and your partner will work together and wright down your data on this paper," with that he went around the class with the paper he was passing around.
Jeydon frowned slightly when Vee walked in late to class, the bell had already rung, and the teacher seemed slightly upset. They were partners, but she obviously looked like she did not want to work with him on anything right now. He did not know what he even did wrong. Jeydon took one of the papers the teacher handed out, and sat back down quickly. He tried thinking of anything that he did that could of possible made her mad at him. He came up with nothing. He sighed defeated, she probably did not want to be his friend anymore. Vee looked like she now despised him for some reason, maybe she found out about the dare. He was not planning on going through with it in anyways, but she would not know that either. He sighed as he waited for her to come over, and work with him. What the crap did I do wrong? Maybe she found out about the dare. I was not planning on doing it though urgghh, Lets track back to the beginning of today, all I did was give her fruit, and talk to her. What is she mad at me for? She even said I looked nice, I don't understand what is going on Jeydon thought these things as he sighed, and looked over at her to see if she made any sign of working with him as the partners they were assigned to be for the rest of the year.
Vee wished they would have taken notes or had to answer questions from the text book. Anything but working with a partner. Even a pop quiz was more than welcomed. She didn't want to speak to Jeydon, not because she disliked him or hated him, but she couldn't bring herself to talk to him after what she had seen, yet she didn't want to upset the teacher further more than she already did, she finally scooted closer to him and looked at him. "I'll set up the stuff," she simply said, avoiding his gaze. She then hears thoughts, everyone's of course, but mostly Jeydon. Except not all, since it's been being weird- even though hearing though is originally weird - lately. Did I do wrong....She found out....planning...talk to her... fruits. But what did he mean by that?
Jeydon nodded in quietly in return. He clicked his pen some as he watched. He did not know what to do anymore, if she was going to be mad at him for something he did not even know he did then she could be. Jeydon groaned silently on the inside, but he did not want her to be mad at him. It was making him sad that Vee could not even look at him right now. He chuckled, "Am I that bad looking that you can't even look at me?" He asked Vee trying to break the awkwardness that was hanging between them right now.
"What? Oh no... I just feel... homesick," she lied, only glancing up to meet his gaze once so he could believe her. She felt bad that he thought of her like that though, because she did tell him he looked nice this morning. Finally Vee pulled on the goggles and handed him his. "Which element do we start with?" She asked him and grabbed an empty tube and tongs to get started. She just wanted to change the subject already, because he'll probably think she's lying and ask her what's really wrong.
Jeydon nodded as he looked at the elements and shrugged. "I don't know which one, just pick one of them and see how it goes." He said as he put his goggles on, and brushed his hair out of the way with his fingers. Robin then came up to them while batting her eyelashes, "Hey Jeydon, you can always be in our group, if she is not helping you." She said in a high girly voice while twirling her hair around her finger. "I mean I also look way cuter in a lab coat and these glasses, don't you think?" She said as she winked at him. Jeydon sighed, and rolled his eyes. "Thanks for the offer Robin, but I already have a partner, and I think she is really smart, and can help me just fine." He said to her nicely. Robin rolled her eyes, "Whatever, but I still win in the cutest department, right Jeybear?" She said as she walked up beside him and squeezed up against his arm, basically trying to press her boobs to him as close as possible. Jeydon shrugged her off nonchalantly, "Actually Vee is way cuter than you in like every way and way smarter than you too. Now can you please go work on your project with your group, and leave me alone for like the rest of the year??" He said to her as kindly as he could. Jeydon turned back to Vee, "Now where were we?" He said with a smirk. Robin sent a glare to Vee before she huffed off back to her group, and probably twisting the whole story around.
Just as Vee was about to choose an element, the girl she saw with Jeydon earlier came up to them. Of course she only came for Jeydon. She didn't bother to look at them and just started to work on her own as Robin started to speak. She tried not to look hurt by what she said, but deep down it felt like she was stabbed. Why did she think she was stupid? And why did she have to show of her beauty and make her feel like shit? Just as she was about to tune them out, she heard Jeydon speak. She didn't expect him to say that actually. She smiled to herself, still not looking at them though. So he thought she was smart? Of course Robin had to make herself better somehow, and she wasn't surprised that she was saying she looked cute. She finally looked up to him as he rejected her and told her to leave, which she did thankfully. Even though she was holding a tube with an element in it, she forgot about the work they had to do and what he was asking her. "Do you mean that?" She asked him nervously. Maybe what happened earlier was a mistake. She shouldn't have jumped to conclusion.
Jeydon nodded, "Of course I do, I would not have said it otherwise." He said with a slight chuckle. "Robin is just an annoying girl that has liked me ever since I transferred to this school. I do not know how many times I have rejected her, but she still keeps trying." He said as he rolled his eyes. Jeydon then picked up a red looking element. "Lets just put these together." He said as he glanced at her. He did not really know what to do. He was never really good at this kind of stuff. Jeydon usually was put into groups that had nerds, and they would not let him touch anything in case he might mess up, and ruin their grade.
Vee's smile grew, into a much happy one. She went back to the happy mood she was in, going back to normal, or at less the normal she is with him. She just softly laughed about Robin and her obsession over Jeydon. He is hot and sweet, but.... but what again? Vee shook her head to not think about that now and just focused on their work. "Uh... Yah sure let's mix these together," she told him and held the tube she had with blue liquid with tings since she'll hold it over the fire. "Just pour it in here," she told him.
Jeydon did exactly what she told him to do. He held it there for what seemed like some time. There was nothing. He sighed thinking it was a bust. "What do we do now, is there a step we missed." He asked sadly. Dammit I wanted it to explode Jeydon thought, hr wanted to make something explode very badly. He glanced at the teacher who was now coming around to see how everyone was doing. Oh shiz we have noting He thought worriedly as he glanced at Vee. She did not look to worried, so he decided he needed to chill his ass down.
"I think we just write down that their was no reaction for these two," she said with a shrug. "Here let me see the paper," she told him and took the worksheet. As she was reading, she heard his thoughts in her head and got distracted. Of course he would eat something to explode. He was a boy, and that's all they care about. She just sighed with a smile and continued to read, not noticing when she was distracted she read the element wrong and chose that element, taking it and mixing it with another element. So far it started to bubble a little, and that was only without the fire. She handed it to him along with the tongs to put it over the fire, hoping that the teacher would see them working and move on. "I think this will react. Put it over the fire," she explained to him, not having any idea that her mistake was going to make a big mess.
Jeydon nodded and stuck over the fire. In a couple of seconds after it heated, the glass burst and the flame went up from the burner. The sound of glass breaking filled the air. The element burst everywhere sending sparks of fire onto the paper. The assignment paper light on fire, and flames shot up into the air. Jeydon's eyes widened as he reacted quickly by grabbing his water bottle and pouring it over the flaming piece of paper. The flame disappeared instantly when the liquid h20 hit it. Now what was left was broken glass, a puddle of water, burnt paper, and drops of elements places. It was quite a mess. "That was AWESOME." He said as he looked at Vee. "Do it again!" Jeydon said excitedly. The teacher gave them a stern look as he started to walk in their direction. "Crap were probably in trouble though." He muttered to Vee. "But it will be sooooo worth it!" He said with a smirk as he looked back at the mess, but awesome experiment they had done.
Vee waited to see if she was right. She jumped at the sudden sound of breaking glass. She was more than right, in fact she was so right that the reaction ended up being fire, on their table! She quickly moved away as Jeydon grabbed for the water bottle, pouring it over the fire until their was a mess of burned paper, water, and the remainder of the element splattered on the table and their lab coat. She looked at Jeydon who was obviously excited about what happened. "Again?" She asked. But she was smiling a little. Maybe that was a little fun, but just glancing at the teacher she knew the fun would be sucked right out of it. The three girls that spoke to her were laughing and everyone was staring. "You two think this is funny?! If you hadn't read the paper, the words in bold said do not use any element from group one! Now quickly shower up before the elements get through your clothing." As much as he was angry he pushed them to the emergency shower in the back, knowing how well these elements could hurt them. He didn't bother letting one of them wait and pushed both of them in their, pulling the curtain and letting the water fall, soaking them.
Jeydon laughed as the water poured down. He glanced over at Vee, and his jaw almost dropped. She looks so dam gorgeous. He thought as he looked at her laughing. She was the prettiest when she laughed, he determined. Without thinking about where he was first, he grabbed her waist and pulled it closer to his. He cupped her face softly in his hand and looked into her eyes, and kissed her gently and sweetly. He pulled away as it then dawned on him what he had done. "Oh...um..." He stuttered trying to explain it to Vee. "Oh um sorry." He said as he glanced to see the teacher looking at them and most of the rest of the class. He blushed instinctively and looked down at the ground blushing. The water soon stopped pouring, and he glanced back at Vee hoping that she didn't hate him now for randomly kissing her passionately in the science shower.
Vee laughed at the situation, a real full laughter that she didn't have to fake. She was soaked,her hair sticking to her face, her clothing getting heavier on her petite body, and water gathered in her ankle boots. She looked up to Jeydon, who was at less more than half a foot taller than her. This was by far the craziest thing that has happened to her in all her high school years, along with hearing the thoughts. As she looked at him, she seen him move, at first not sure what he was going to do. But as he pulled her closer to him and cupped her face, it became clear in her head. She sucked in her breath before he leaned in to kiss her. At first she didn't do anything, she didn't kiss back or pull away, but then she son melted into his lips and kissed him back, actually forgetting where she was. But then he pulled away and everything become real. She too looked away shyly, her cheeks burning as she blushed. "You to go straight to the office! Now," the teacher said and pointed at the door.
Jeydon quickly walked out of the class room. He blushed immensely hoping that Vee would not notice. Most people probably thought that him kissing her meant that he was going to go through the day. This was going to spread even more rumors about it, especially since Josh was in that class. He groaned out loud, the principles office was all the way on the other side of the school. He glanced back at Vee wondering if she was angry with him or not. Jeydon hoped she enjoyed it just as much as he did. "Hey listen I'm sorry I got us in trouble." He said as he scratched the back of his head all of a sudden feeling nervous and very awkward. Jeydon was usually confident around people, but he just could not seem to pull it off with Vee. Half the time around her, he felt like a complete idiot, who she would never like.
Vee walked out of the class with Jeydon, embarrassed both by because she was just yelled at and because of what happened with Jeydon. At first she walked with him down the hallway awkwardly, just following him because she wasn't sure where to go. She wished she could hear his thoughts, but it was just hers in her head. She wanted to know what he thought of the kiss. She liked it, but she knew she shouldn't. Because having him as a friend was close enough, but more than a friend was pushing it. She did come to this school intending not to be friends with anyone or talk to anyone. Now look at her, a guy who was way out of her lead kissed her, in front of their lab class. That would mostly have the school talking about her. She finally glanced at him when he spoke, "it's not your fault... It's mine," she assured him. But it was his fault because his thought disturbed her when she was reading, except he didn't know that. "Besides... He probably would have sent us to the office even if we.... You know," she said the last part softly because she didn't want to really bring it up.
Jeydon laughed, "Let just skip the office and head to your house, or mine." He said with a chuckle, but he was not joking. He sighed, "Lets just ditch the rest of the day." He said as she glanced back at her, as he kept walking in the direction of the office. It would be cool to see where she lived, or she could see where he lived. Either one was both cool with him as long as they were not in this awful hell of a school anymore. Half the teachers were stupid, and unreasonable. Jeydon thought that they just hated their lives, and decided to take it out on the students they were forced to teach everyday.
"But wouldn't we get in trouble?" She asked him, hearing him being serious. Vee was scared, if she was to be honest about it. But at the same time she would like to leave. Because she didn't want to walk in the hallways and hear people talk about her, laugh about her, or even think about her since she'll be able to hear that too. Maybe just because of that she would actually agree to leave. Maybe people would think she was sent home. That way people say she was skipping now too. "Doesn't the teacher call the office to tell them we're going their?" She also asked. That what happened in her last school, not that she go in trouble though. But she did have to go to the office once when she had a break down, but that was another story.
Jeydon shrugged not really knowing the answer. He had skipped before several times. "All I know is that they don't call your parents." He said as he flipped his hair out of his eyes. "We should go Vee, just this once." He said as he glanced her. "To get your mind off things." Jeydon said with a smile as he walked up to her and grabbed her hands in his. "Common Vee you know you want to." He said as he made her arms swing along with his.
Vee liked that her parents wouldn't know she skipped if she did end up to. She thought about it, really thought about it. He was right. She did want to skip, and that it would help get her mind off of things. Maybe she should say yes. How bad could it be? She was dripping wet so she'll need to change anyway. She bit her lip, and when he moved to hold her hands it only made it harder, but in a good way. A way where she knew she wanted to go with him really bad but didn't want to do the wrong thing. In the end, she just smiled and said, "let's go to your place. My parents are home now, "
Jeydon nodded. "I have a t-shirt or something you can change into." He said as he stopped by his locker quickly, and grabbed his stuff. "Alright lets rock n roll." Jeydon said as he led her out to his car. He stopped her right in front of the car, "Before you go any further, isn't she a beauty?" He asked Vee referring to his new car his mom had bought him. He chuckled knowing that she probably did not care, but would pretend to care just to make him happy.
She followed him as he lead her to his locker then to his car, stopping when he stopped her to check out his car. She smirked at him and said, "very." But she knew nothing about cars and didn't even know the differences in them. ((Sorry it's short. I'm kinda busy now))
Jeydon chuckled, "Hop in." He said with an eager smile. "You will get to meet my cat miles." He said with an excited grin as he glanced at her in the passenger seat next to him. He pulled on his seat belt, and turned the radio's sound on softly. They could still hear the music, but did not have to yell if they wanted to speak to each other.
Vee circled the car and claimed in to the passengers seat. She shut the door, pulled on her seat belt, and pushed her wet hair out of her face. "A cat! I love cats," she said in the same excited tone. "My dad hates cats so we were never able to get one," she explained to him, at the same time listening to the soft music that was playing. "Sorry about getting your car yet. You probably can't stand seeing a single dust on your beauty," she teases him with a soft giggle, moving to put her wet hair in a bun so it wouldn't tickle the back of her neck, exposing her collar bone and one shoulder because she had a lose sweater on.
Jeydon glanced at her and bit his lip. She was undeniably hot. "Umm ya we do have a cat." He said as he tried to regain his train of thought. He sighed as he pulled into his neighborhood. "We're almost there, this is the neighborhood I live in." He said as he glanced out the window at the houses that were around him. He drove a couple more streets, before pulling into a decently sized house. "Now this is my house." He said as he glanced over at Vee to see her reaction.
