15.10 - A Reason to Party
Bonza Bottler Day is celebrated once a month when the number of the month coincides with the number of the day (1/1, 2/2, 12/12 this winter season) Read a book that is identified on Goodreads as #1, #2 or #12 in a series. Whole numbers only.

Meg (megscl) | 2469 comments Hi, I wanted to read Proper Gauge for this (book 2 of Wool), however, the series order is a bit complicated because it is book 2/5 of book 1 of a three book series.
If you look at the series listing https://www.goodreads.com/series/7064... it is listed as Wool #2. But on the book's page it is called Silo #1b. To make it even more complicated, I read the kindle version and the paperback version has a different title. Wool 2
So, can I claim this as the 1st or 2nd book in a series? When I post, can I just link to the kindle version or do I also need to link the paperback?
Thanks!

Under the series data on the book page it lists- Silo #1B, Wool #2.
You could claim it as book 2, #1B would not be a #1.
Please link to the edition you read, it is helpful to include the edition you used to establish length (following #7 rules)

They do, but that one has the genre children
AR BookFinder: IL: MG - BL: 3.9 - AR Pts: 3.0 and doesn't work for SRC tasks

Fatemeh (alexxy) | 72 comments This may sound a little weird but I don't totally understand what books are considered the genre children.
For example : Cinder is the first book in the series and in AR BookFinder gets : IL: MG+ - BL: 5.8 - AR Pts: 14.0 which apparently is YA. So does this count or it is still children?

Amanda (amandapearl) | 267 comments To bounce off the graphic novel question, if I wanted to read the first volume of a comic series, for example Bitch Planet, Vol 1: Extraordinary Machine, this is the first volume but I guess series #1-5. Would this count or does it need to just be series #1?

That's series #1-5, not #1. It doesn't work
