I'd be very glad if anyone would be prepared to read and review my book, 'Caught in a Moment'. This is the first in my Alex Trueman Chronicles trilogy.
What this series does not contain: Zombies, werewolves, ghosts, dragons or vampires.
What this series does contain: A completely original world that was never imagined and written about before (unless you know better!)
In the first instalment, “Caught in a Moment” prolific daydreamer, teenage Alex Trueman has daydreamed himself unwittingly into the strange world of Intersticia, a world outside of ordinary time that exists in the slender intervals between instants. At first it seems that he alone is free to wander these hushed streets with their motionless cars and people. But he is not alone. Alex soon discovers that he shares this world with others and that he has a rare power with the potential to change future, past and present.
In the second book, "Worm Winds of Zanzibar" Alex faces a new challenge. His extraordinary powers have come to the attention of the angelic community that watches over creation. There are some who wish to protect him but there are others, the Brethren of Twelve, whose plans for Alex are of the most sinister kind. Alex’s angelic friend Malcolm finds a place of refuge for Alex and his friends in nineteenth century Zanzibar. But this is not time travel in the accepted sense of that term. This is an alternative reality, in which history has evolved differently, a perilous world over which the shadow of doom has fallen. Alex must plot a course amongst a multitude of dangers in order to survive.
"Caught in a Moment," is free to download from Amazon and Smashwords. The third and final instalment, "Angelic Upstart" is being proof-read right now and will be published during the course of the summer.
