You're starting early! Keep notes for when we begin the discussion:)

I love Suzanne's writing style, too. She had great training early in her career and it paid off in this series.

You are starting early!! Be sure to come back to discuss in Jan. I have to read the first one in Dec. for a challenge but it'll be fresh enough in my mind to discuss in Jan. I hope!! haha

Sorry I missed this post, Jonetta! You did get me started on it but I think you also got me started on In Death at the same time...and you know how that goes ;)

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 798 comments I'm joining this group today. I had decided to read the Troubleshooters series in order on my own, and I thank Jonetta for the reminder today that this group will be doing the same. Someone else mentioned it on 2-3-4 Discussions a while ago {I think}, but I didn't act until today :)

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 798 comments Thanks. I'm zipping all around this group site now, and I've forgotten how to get to discussion questions in order for the first book. When I clicked on "Question 1" (underlined) it didn't take me there....

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1131 comments I really enjoyed the first book in this series but had a terrible time with the second. The heroine annoyed the cr@p out of me!

I've heard such great things about the rest of the series though, so I'm willing to give book #3 a chance next month.

I agree Lauren I am going to give the next one a try and hope the series improves for me.

The third book is where this series takes a big shift. I'm hoping you both have a better experience.

Kris (My Novelesque Life) (mynovelesquelife) | 9 comments I'm definitely in for the third book as I no one cane be as annoying at this heroine, lol.

Got an email update from Suzanne Brockmann announcing the $1.99 sale of the first book. At the very end, she mentioned she was working on the next Troubleshooters book!!!

Hoo-rah!

Sandra nominated the series!

message 81: by Maggie (new)

Maggie | 1576 comments I think I have read too many of the Troubleshooters books in a row. Last night I dreamed that I was living in a big house in Iraq with Seal team sixteen. Cosmo and I had a very long conversation that took place, while we were washing lots of dishes, walking in a field and he was standing in a refrigerator ( so no one would hear us talking). We talked about life, love and why it would be very inappropriate for me to go on a mission with team sixteen since I'm untrained;he also informed me that he knew of my plan to hide and follow them when they left for their mission and that that would not be allowed to happen. He hid my photo album so they could leave while I was searching the big house for it.
Maybe I need to take a break from the Troubleshooters.

Robin (robinmy) | 1390 comments That's hilarious. I think I need to read a couple more of these books so I can have my own dream.

The list is updated to include two new books to the series, announced today in Suzanne's newsletter.

Ready to Roll, #16.8 is available now. While it's a novella, it's over 200 pages.

A new, full length book, Some Kind of Hero, is scheduled for release on January 11.

I've got an idea...

As we're near the end of the series, is it time for us to take a poll on our favorite characters, male or female?
