I've got about 90 books on my Wishlist at audible, so 1 credit isn't even going to help me:D

i opened another account last month as they had a special deal for 99p (cents) for 3 mths, I'm a sucker for a bargain lol
I just then convert it to mp3 and keep it on my Dropbox. ........et voila haha!

Btw I have LOADS of books I have converted to mp3 on my Dropbox folder which me and my friends share with each other, not sure if you'll like them but your welcome to have nosey if you like, I can send you my Dropbox link and you can download them from there?

either one! I am not very savvy. That's why I buy exclusively from audible. I had bought a few from Tantor audio but it was drama getting the format I wanted, so now with audible, I just listen on my iphone audible app

Chapter 1 Non Existant

Ohh Kate Rudd is narrating I like her.

Sarah the best friend seems to know that she is not happy at home, but she seems to be crushing too much on Jason to notice how unhappy she is.

So Emma just seems to want to blend into the background and not want to draw any attention to herself.
Good grades at school to enable her to get out, and actually counting down the days till she can.

5 minutes alloted time in the shower or the water gets turned off wtf !!!!

Chapter 2 -1st impression

Hurrah no lopsided smile, I think i may like Evan Matthews........For now!

Emma is the editor of the school paper and is very passionate about what goes in the articles, I like the way she jumped into sticking up for people with insecurities.

By the sound of it she doesn't talk much at school if at all, which leads me to ask how did she get the job in the 1st place?

I love it when you hysterically laugh with your friends, it's like trying to stop snickering at a funeral, you know you should but you just can't stop lol. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 3 - Distraction

She's never been to a party but she doesn't really want to go, she agrees to go just to keep her friend happy, this is just typical victim submission.

Do what everyone else wants to do, don't rock the boat, don't have an opinion!

Even after Evan had asked her why she didn't speak to him.

Lol, I have to say I tried this about a year ago and didn't like it after the 1st chapter so i left it, but I'm quite liking it this time around, well so far anyway.

Ok. I will wait until after Easter, and try the audio again before I switch to the ebook

Chapter 4 - Change

I can't believe that they have made up a story to tell Evan to gloss over the fact that she is being abused, it's crazy!

How did her Aunt know that she went to the game, and why does she have it in her head that she is a Whore ?

I can't believe she did that to her!

I knew all I had to do was make one phone call, or walk into the school psychologist’s office and utter one sentence, and this would all be over.
But she won't do it because of the children !?!?!

That doesn't make sense to me, surely she would be afraid for their welfare. Just because she hasn't done anything to the children, doesn't mean that she won't.

Let me say this. i like Evan. He seems honest, blunt and observant. I liked his article idea and that he spoke up.

I feel bad that Emma is sooo serious, but I completely understand because she has one shot to escape her hell.

I am so glad she has her best friend Sarah. I shudder to think what her school life would be like without the most popular girl as her bestie

How did her aunt find out about the football game?
